When was the last time you went to the club iyc?

when was the last time you went to the club iyc?

its been a month now for me
i miss it so bad...

I've never been to a club because I don't have friends to go with

more than 10 years ago
not for me
most of my enjoyment was from watching guys approach the ladies

i creep women out at clubs

you have to at least go once in your life, get the feel eh?

for me, its dancing and having fun with randos
we'd all get drunk, the dj spins our jam, and i'd get on the dancefloor hugging and jumping with randos haha

sorta related but I know an Indian guy died the last time I went, he got into a fight with a Nigerian guy and the guy threw a vodka bottle at him - fell and never got up

About the same for me. I got busy with studying and going without a girl is kinda boring imo. Plus its expensive

expensive

you could say that again
alcohol is already expensive here with the tax, and the clubs putting up a 5% mark-up.... sheesh
Absolute Vodka is $10 w/o tax, $50 w/ tax and $100 at the club haha

*50% mark up
my bad

Wtff, atleast we're saving money by not going

seek Allah degenerate

get this, min. wage is $450 here haha
this is an expensive hobby

:p

Like a couple of months
It's pretty fun, but honestly the part I enjoy the most is talking to randos outside, like some nights I spent 80% of it on the smoking area talking :DD
Last time I went there was a guy outside with a chicken called "grams" (chicken is a slang for cocaine here, so it's name was a joke) pretty random

i understand that but i dont enjoy the music
house parties are much better imo though obv less randos which can be a good or bad thing
thats why you do pre-drinks before clubbing

I went to two clubs.
In 2006 and 2008. My 18th and 20th birthdays.
One was the best in Stockholm at the time, one was a super popular one in NYC.

I HATED both of them. Clubs are fucking atrocious, the people there even worse, the music absolutely shit, the booze overpriced, the entire atmosphere (if you wanna call it that) is beyond bad.
I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would choose to willingly visit one of those. You can go to a nice pub, restaurant or bar for the same/less money and actually enjoy your time.

Last weekend. Music was meh but I was supporting a friend on a show

pretty random

i would have told him to go back to r*ddit

I live in a zogbot shack and booze isnt allowed

pre-drinks

planning on this the next time I go, like gulp a whole 350ml of whisky haha

yeah, its not for everyone
the first few times I went I was deathly afraid even with friends - got drunk enough to really enjoy it haha

kino
the place I frequent has lots of foreigners around, its... interesting to see the fashion sense and all

Never been, never will be.
The only place I visit is my local metal pub.

I used to go all the time, clubs and music festivals. I used to do ballet so I've always danced and have liked electronica music since I was little so, and yeah I loved getting lost in the crowd and having girls come up to me and tell me what a good dancer I am. I met my wife at a dance club in 2016, we just hit it off and never stopped hanging out together. I haven't been in a couple years though, so many of the people I used to go with died. The guy that introduced me to my girl died in 2020, lost a couple in accidents, a couple overdoses. I'd be on the dance floor waiting for friends to show up that will never go out again. Plus, I just don't like drinking anymore if just gives me a headache these days

macabre
Yeah lots of tourists also in Barcelona's clubs, I tend to go to other towns tough because here they're either expats or brits

Jesus man, that sucks. Glad you came out fine

Last year
Didn't liked it. Heard it gets better if you're on drugs

happy for you and your wife
sorry for your loss on your friends

i feel the same way too, might "retire" when I reach 30 and settle down

I physically hate "dance" and bass music so never.

Thanks brotha, yeah a lot of good came out my experiences then. Wish more of them could be here with me but I am very grateful for the memories
That's actually pretty much exactly when I stopped going out, when I was 31 and I'm 33 now. The guy who introduced us was like 48 though haha and he was travelling across the country to see big DJs all the time. He was single but he pulled a lot of tail

got drunk enough to really enjoy it haha

The drunker I get, the less social I become.
Last time I went to the pub I overdid it and drank too much.
Ended up at home, building model tanks until early morning when I passed out. I had apparently just ditched my friends without a word and walked home.

Went to a techno club for the first time a few days ago, was pretty good desu, I went alone and just danced, didn't even drink just spent money for the entrance. A hot zoomie girl grinded on me for a bit (I didn't do more cuz I'm a bit autistic) and I got subtly touched by a few fags, fun otherwise. I will probably start going there more frequently

Nigger music and lower class subhumans degrading themselves

tattoo=transsexual

...its an entry stamp
means i can just go in and out whenever

club

Never.
My place is The Abyss here in Gothenburg.
Good music, good snacks, fun people, cheap booze.

2 years
I don't miss it
Clubs are sausagefests 99% of the time and the women go out with their predetermined group of friends and aren't really looking to meet anyone
At least that's what it was like in this shithole

reminds me of that one time I got this rando dude and rando girl to dance together
I held their hands and tried to make them hold each other's hands, the girl fucking swiped him away lmao

really gotta try somewhere with live music
saw a hijabi girl in one of those places once, she was on the outside seating area enjoying a meal + hookah

an old friend I don't talk to anymore dragged me to one in 2009. I stood in the corner unironically and didn't speak to anyone, but the live band that was playing was pretty good.

really gotta try somewhere with live music

You should. No matter what genre you like, it's always better live with an actual band/artist and a crowd.

Went to techno raves for 10 years straight. I'm 30 now and I only hit the pub like 3 times a month. It's okay

I missed those OG days in the 90's. Was too young, but my older brother went. It was crazy he said. We will never see anything like it ever again

My problem is I hate current music with a passion. I like 90s Eurodance and stuff. I'm not a horrible person, but it pisses me off to hear current music on the radio and stuff when I'm in a car.

we can go crazier...
right now it's all about Hardtekk

This but 80's music. Last decade of good music if you ask me.

Yeah, was mostly going on most stuff going to shit around 2000. I like things with a good melody.
