Beware that in most latam and thirdie countries it is very cheap to live as locals do, but very expensive if you want to keep a western living standard... in that case you'd pay a lot for living in a gated community, water purifiers, guards, private medical assistance, etc.
If you go to live in a cheap barrio you'd just become the richest guy in the morgue as soon as they realise how rich are you by local standards.
I'd rather suggest your going to a small town in Spain or Portugal or Italy, there you can have a comfy life with that income and be safe among locals with an acceptable national health service.
