1) As says, a lot of Americans actually find British accents silly. And contrary to , at least some women dislike them too.
2) The Castilian (northern) accent isn't really the only accent of Spain. A lot of the native minority (Catalans etc.) peoples sound more like Latin Americans due to the influence of their native Romance tongues.
3) Sudacas are poor and brown so they seethe about rich and white Spaniards. Yes it's that simple, don't listen to the "funny dubbing" copes.
