I'm from the french riviera and I never stay there during summer it's packed. Went to brittany a couple of times (Morbihan and St Brieuc) it was very comfy

The masses go to cheap Mediterranean beach destinations, or islands, more often than anywhere else. Greece. Maybe package holidays to those weird Egyptian resorts where everyone speaks German, although I don’t know anyone personally who’s done that, I just see advertisements. And lots of people just go hiking or skiing or sitting by a lake in some other part of Switzerland.
