maybe around 2000 hours of input while looking up translations. i started in april 2022, basic fluency in january this year. nowadays i use a monolingual dictionary while reading and am able to spend about 7-8 hours a day with the language without it feeling like work. gl emulating this btw its kind of insane to me when i think about it.

i hang out with my friends, make digital and analog music, read novels, play basketball, walk 10k steps a day. sometimes i get random obsessions where i spent like 30 hours in a couple days on some random shit like go or chess or mahjong.
