Is Switzerland better than East Germany?
Is Switzerland better than East Germany?
A lot of people will say that Switzerland is not better than East Germany when Switzerland is, in fact, better than East Germany.
Is Spain better than East Germany?
A lot of people will say that Switzerland is not better than East Germany
Why?
Switzerland is, in fact, better than East Germany
Why?
Why?
That's actually none of your business, whore.
Stop being rude!
What's your vector, Victor?
I'm not a Victor.
In Dreseden you can buy a house probwbly for like 180k-200k but salaries are shit like 2-2.5 lower than swiss.
But it depends what job would you work
For you it eould be easier to move to Germany than Switzerland
In Dreseden you can buy a house
There are no houses in Dresden, the allies bombed them all to bits.
It was 80 years anon.
what job would you work
Doctor.
easier to move to Germany
Yeah I'm definitely not moving to Switzerland straight ahead, but my original plan was to go there from Germany after getting set up there, and now I just wondered whether it will even worth it at all. People there work longer hours and the cost of living is actually that much higher so it seems no quality of life improvement will happen.
East Germany
The people there are neurotic fucks. And I am not talking aboit politics (even though I could).
They are the essence of soullessness. They combine Prussian autism with slavish brutishness and whats left is a people full of cold hatred.
Sure you can buy a cheap house there but i would never want to love there
Sounds like they're based and you're dilating. AfD won btw.
Ahem.
AfD won btw.
They didnt though? Norwood Megamind won
They arent even based by right wing standards. They contribute nothing to the country and in generally actually hate everything German
didnt though
They rock the polls now.
arent even based
Protest vote.
contribute nothing
Remigration.
everything German
Islam and refugees? Geg.
east Germany is indeed quite underrated, you'll find tons of Germans who will complain about muh unaffordable rent in big cities but when you tell them to move to Dresden or Leipzig where salaries:cost of living ratio is the best in Germany (if not all of Europe), and in contrary to common stereotypes, there are plenty of job opportunities, good schools, beautiful places etc., suddenly it is unthinkable for them, because they HAVE TO live in Munich/Berlin/Frankfurt or whatever is cool&hip.
afaik there are a lot of Russians in former east Germany though I'm not entirely sure if they mostly stem from the Soviet army soldiers who stationed there and somehow managed to stay or from the Russlanddeutschen who immigrated there in the 1990s
Dresden or Leipzig but not Berlin..?
The only city i want to move to in Germany is Berlin
Better in what sense?
Food and entertainment are arguably better in Germany; restaurants are certainly half the price ours are, and offer at least slightly better variety. Supermarkets are cheaper and bigger, although some argue that food quality is better here (true for a few products, mythical for most).
Our infrastructure and public transport are far superior. Our bureaucracy is slightly more effective but roughly equally stupid. They’re fractionally more efficient in some ways, where we are simply methodical/slavishly devoted to standard operating procedures. It’s easier to dodge taxes and/or launder money here, but you’ll spend far more on healthcare (quality of care is broadly similar, although we have a shortage of some specialists).
Oh, just noticed that you’re looking to practice medicine here—landing work as a foreign physician in CH can be an annoying process, per a German doctor friend of mine. Although Switzerland needs more doctors, there’s a protectionist system in place that favors graduates of Swiss medical schools—foreign licenses don’t necessarily transfer automatically, and many of the most lucrative private-sector medical jobs are not open to foreigners until they’ve completed a period of poorly-paid, laborious service (essentially an additional residency) in a Swiss public hospital. My German doctor friend had to turn down a cushy job offer from an urgent care/walk-in clinic because she hadn’t completed this service, and now works across the border in a German clinic of some kind.
Dresden or Leipzig but not Berlin..?
yes, because Berlin got already quite expensive in the last decade
90s Berlin was kino indeed but it's rapidly modernizing, westernizing and globohomoizing and in a few years its Ossi vibe will be completely gone and it will be just an overpriced corporate soulless shithole like Frankfurt.
Honestly why would you like to move there? Sure the landscapes are pretty but unless you are a gigaautist it will be a living hell. You cant even piss at will without some retard calling the cops on you for "noise and pollution" because you dared to relieve yourself at 12:01 and not precisely 12:00. Ive heard stories of people hosting parties and then having the guests call cops to complain about the noise.
You are a kid unable to see things in a certain way. Maybe you will grow up one day
I know 3 persons who migrated to Germany and they all are in MVP for some reason.
because they HAVE TO
I suppose it's like that in most countries, retards always flock to big cities.
I've heard stories from people having quite affordable housing in Berlin, like €600 for 50 sq.m. or so. This is literally the same prices as in Moscow it seems.
. You cant even piss at will without some retard calling the cops on you for "noise and pollution" because you dared to relieve yourself at 12:01 and not precisely 12:00.
it feels weird only for non-firsties
firsties are just born in such a world and it is normal for them that there are rules you need to obey, simply
Thank you much for your info anon, you always help.
many of the most lucrative private-sector medical jobs are not open to foreigners
I've heard the best spots both in pay and easiness are psychiatry and primary care and accidentally these two are what I target anyway.
until they’ve completed a period of poorly-paid, laborious service (essentially an additional residency) in a Swiss public hospital
And this was your friend from Germany had to do as well? I know that doing such a thing is what you have to do if you're a non-EU foreigner, but I thought the EU doctors are exempt.
Sorry for typos.
I've heard stories from people having quite affordable housing in Berlin
afaik it's only those who got their contracts long time ago, when communal/coop apartments in Berlin were really piss cheap, and since these contracts were not subjected to price adjustment despite inflation, these prices feel insanely low now. Those lucky ones do live good lives now.
But if you come to Berlin now and get a contract signed, the price will be much much higher, usually on par with Wessie cities nowadays.
Maybe. Maybe I will even actually vote the Greens because I hate cars and Jews.
Because I don't qualify for the US, it's always like that.
Oh I see. Do you know anything about Saxony-Anhalt? It looks so useless compared to both MVP and Saxony that I almost pity the place.
Saxony-Anhalt
Historically Magdeburg was one of the most important German cities but nowadays it's one of the ugliest and most boring towns probably (which still means it's far superior to anything in eastern Europe).
Other than that, I don't have any specific information about it, if you manage to find a job there you'll probably live well because even small German towns offer all kinds of necessary amenities and always look perfectly clean and well kept.
Leipzig
Not hip
Delusional
Bump
well, if it already becomes hip then probably sooner or later it will also become quite expensive so OP should decide faster
though even in the worst case, there is always Gelsenkirchen to choose, that's gonna be cheap there for a long time for sure
so OP should decide faster
I'm waiting for my graduation four more years anyway and initially I'm not going anywhere besides either Saxony or MVP anyway and to choose between those I have to dip into the precise legal differences between the diploma confirmation processes contemporary at the time so whatever.
I just wondered whether I really should consider moving to Switzerland afterwards my main root or I should somewhat change the focus.
well, you can start from East Germany as an easy mode and when you already learn German well and get used to the European lifestyle (so you'll stop taking showers past 10 pm or realize that you cannot pay with a card in every shop or that food delivery options are very poor and expensive) then you can try Switzerland
strange, it doenst feel that much more expensive living here, i came from germany and the only thing WAY more expensive is the rent, I live like a neet tho so grocerys are not that expensive when i buy the cheap stuff (also the last two years when I was in south Germany grocerys got expensive too).
Internet I pay the same I think as I did in Germany (30 bucks), public transport I pay 50 bucks a month and can drive in the whole Kanton (its a job ticket). Forced television is a bit higher (Serafe is 300 something, GEZ in Germany was like 200 something).
Healtcare is more expensive because your employer doesnt pay its half like its in Germany, think I pay 350 right now with the cheapest margin, Germany was 200? dont remember that well.
But I can work here a 3 day week and still save money, that would not be possible in my profession in Germany, so thats that.
Kanton? More like Cunt-on!
US is better than any goyropean country
and you wil never leave kamchatka mordvix
start from East Germany as an easy mode
It actually is. Virtually all stories of immigrants failing or being unsatisfied come from the Northwest.
Yeah that site has a lot of bullshit. Thank you.
C4 N1c ping pong ching chong.
In Switzerland, if you own a house you have to pay a “rent tax” equal to what the rent would be.
They are more Jewish than Israel
tf does that mean
i know nothing about haplogroups
if you own a house you have to pay a “rent tax” equal to what the rent would be
It's the same in the USA btw.
Who are you then retard? Shoo shoo, call 117.
call 117
nah i will immigrate to US and you will never leave kamchatka
You should probably live somewhere near Switzerland if you're gonna move there eventually. Freiburg and Konstanz come to mind
How different is Baden-Württemberg from Bavaria btw? Like generally.
And this was your friend from Germany had to do as well? I know that doing such a thing is what you have to do if you're a non-EU foreigner, but I thought the EU doctors are exempt.
In some cases for some job openings, EU doctors may be able to access exemptions, but it’s not guaranteed, and my friend was unable to accept a private-sector job offer without a supplemental residency. German doctors actually face a few unique restrictions, officially because there are differences between the Swiss and German pharmacopeia, and Swiss and German medical labs use different measurements for a lot of tests—mg/DL vs mmol/L, others.
I have also been told that many Swiss patients don’t want to see foreign doctors, but urban Switzerland is very international, so it’s not a big barrier to working in a city. But I doubt an immigrant doctor would thrive as a rural GP.
Bavarians are more loud and proud, BaWülers are more the quiet, judging type. Bavarians are more Xenophobic to north Germans, BaWülers are more Xenophobic to everyone who isn't from their village.
overpriced shithole filled with balkan niggers and literal niggers
balkan niggers
How bad are these really? I get mixed reviews on them, some say they're basically Arabs while some say they're quite decent and white-coded.
80% are subhuman trash
some of them are alright if they have been raised in civilised place
they are just not the same, you cannot really compare a Croat to an Albanian
Well I mean only the Christian Slavic ones, nobody ever refers to Albanians as to good people.
They're like 20% of youth in Germany.
standard of life that you can have with 8000€ in Dresden
What the fuck is this baseline, that's richfag tier even for Switzerland
Well I mean only the Christian Slavic ones
Catholic Slavs (Slovenes, Croats) are rather liked. Orthodox Slavs (Serbs, Bosnians, Montenegrins, Bulgarians) are mostly associated with cheap labor and mafia
but it shouldn't concern Russians, Russians in Switzerland are just all thought to be oligarchs or children or oligarchs and in this sense kind of respected
Swiss people will unironically expect that you're unbelievably rich if you tell them that you're Russian and you will shock them if you tell them you're just a regular wagie here
Specialist doctor's wage with extras. You start from about 5k (net and with extras, again).
I'll probably be telling people I'm Ukrainian.
I'll probably be telling people I'm Ukrainian.
I'm not sure if there is a big Ukrainian diaspora in Switzerland though after 2022 there can be a big Ukrainian diaspora everywhere so maybe
I guess I better forget about Switzerland either way. Seems the choice will be between staying in Germany while maybe moving southwest and moving to America.
Why do you even care about wages if you already know you'll be much better paid than the average guy
Doctors in America are paid 15-20k per month for comparison.
Ok and what's your point?
Idk, I forgot what we were talking about.
How long has this poster larped about being a medical doctor? I've been seeing these posts for a while now
I'm a second-year student yet. I just say I'm a doctor because it's more convenient.
So a larp indeed.
Cope. They don't even kick people out anymore, I'm practically a doctor.
Of course, you're in Russia so your skills don't matter, plus you have to compensate for all the guys who got killed in the meatgrinder whatever your actual abilities.
so your skills don't matter
It actually the opposite, banter aside. In the third world (to which Russia belongs), they always try to squeeze everything possible out of you for minimal pay because people don't have a choice and if they won't obey and be ideal wageslaves, they will literally starve.
Cope. The only domains in which russians are wanted for their skills are cs and maths. You're thinking very highly of yourself.
Seethe, dilate, YWNBW, beurette a khel.
What do you mean? I'm an actual doctor unlike you
Why are you mad then? You could tell some stories instead of seething.
Because I don't quite like schizo larpers
What was the larp? I am actually enrolled in a med school, I can afford nostrification, I am currently learning the language. People usually have plans for their future long before graduation nigger.
You're larping as a doctor and you aren't one
>what job would you work
Doctor.
Do you notice that WOULD there you idiot? Do you know what it means in English?
Yes
Ok.
So I guess now I can discard Switzerland as an option. I'm initially moving to either Saxony or Pomerania, and then I'll see whether I better stay in Germany or move to America.
I've heard stories from people having quite affordable housing in Berlin, like €600 for 50 sq.m. or so.
Because rental contracts have heavily regulated price increases of a few % per year regardless of overall inflation, therefore people with decades old contracts barely pay anything.
You will NOT find prices like this on todays’ market however.
BaWülers are more the quiet, judging type. Bavarians are more Xenophobic to north Germans, BaWülers are more Xenophobic to everyone who isn't from their village.
BaWü does feel very familiar when I visit from Switzerland.
In all seriousness, if OP is still here and shopping for a German town to land in, I really enjoy Freiburg.
you will move back to kamchatka
bcuz u dont even have zagranpassport
