No gooning edition
Constantly semi-erect:

Dreamt I was a teen and was going to go on a date with a woman more than twice my age but when I told my mom I was going to go on a date, she just told me that I'm not allowed to leave the house so I did not go. I got angry so I broke my pair of glasses and as it broke, some water came out from between where the pieces of glass were stuck together.
Weird ass dream fr but I also really do wonder what the interpretation would be fr.

Hello medders, not turning back down. Gotta do what you gotta do.
Simple interpretation. You feel stuck somehow and feel like you can't get love or sex like you should be able to. The glasses is just an expression of anger and frustration.
At least that's what I assume.

Good morning /med/.

I dreamt that I was feeling down about my gym results so I decided to get some steroids from China by mail and my mum found them.
I also got a Chinese car that looked good but it was a piece of shit.

Good morning /med/, first day in the cagie after last Wednesday. Yesterday I didn't eat good at all, and if you add last Saturday when I threw up that night...not in a good strike, but hope to "recover" soon. I also dreamt that I played futsal with some of my pupils in an open air pitch and that I went to a nearby city with my brother in law.

I have finally got my lazy bum to use the moka pot.

I have just found out that a Maltese offshoot of that Italian brainrot stuff exist.

Post it, need me some maltese brainrot

I overheard my father watching some AI video on Tiktok talking (with a funny accent) about dropping his pastizz. I went to check it out and the account was called exactly that, Maltese brainrot.

Maltese sounds like serbian

I am back to gaming (battle simulators).
That's a new one.

Good morning med

Good morning /med/. I haven't posted in a few days. Probably because it takes so long "to wait a while before posting" that I get distracted.

My interpretation is that you NEED to have sex (gay or straight) NOW

If you keep your Anon Babble cookies then you don't have to wait a while before posting. I use Firefox and I changed the settings so it doesn't save history (because I don't like history) but it does keep cookies. So I don't see the 900 second timer on Anon Babble anymore.

I have it set like picrel for both Anon Babble and 4channel, but I still get a timer. Not a 900s one, but one that doesn't say how long I need to wait. After waiting some time I click on get captcha again and it usually shows me a 120s timer.

Fair enough, that's strange. The only timers I get now are cooldowns after I've submitted a post or thread.

I think it works somewhat, it's only for the first time I post in a day? Or after a long time of not posting. After posting once I only get the cooldowns, yeah.

Advise me

Nice gym sesh. Added another 1,25 kgs to plate loaded unilateral lat pulldowns, 2,5 kgs to pendlay rows (and even a rep on top of that). Low rows like usual felt like shit, fuck that machine. Spent too much time doing these so I only did 2 sets of cable hammer curls, which is a piece of shit as the path feels completely unnatural, have absolutely no idea how I preferred this to dumbbells as a beginner. Then instead of doing 2 or 3 sets of barbell curls, I opted for 12 mins of cardio, shocking all the powershitters.

No shit. By why was there water between the broken pieces of glass fr? That's what I don't get no cap.

some steroids from China by mail and my mum found them.

I also got a Chinese car that looked good but it was a piece of shit.

Should have hid the 'roids in the car fr fr no cap desu.

Before 4tran went down some weeks ago, I used to have to wait 10 minutes to post or 15 minutes when creating a thread. Now I only need to wait 2 minutes to post or 5 minutes to create a thread. I delete cookies every day. Nice upgrade fr.

Anyone read a novel by Joel Dicker? Is he any good? I don't really like non-Anglos writing about an Anglo setting but his books seem interesting. I want to pick up cheap books to read every week or so.

I'm not ready.

Sometimes book titles put me off. They say don't judge a book by its cover, but never say to not judge it by its title.

I was not ready.

It's something about cloudflare.
Try visiting the main page Anon Babble dot org and from there try clicking on a board and see if it does some kind of check.
For me, after the site came back at the start it was giving me some difficult captchas and now it gives me easy captchas.

Today's program :
Cleaning the freezer
Abs exercises
Cleaning the bedroom
Watching Inter crushing Varca

I see

I advise you to live well and have a good life

I delete cookies every day

Fair. I just keep the cookies because the timers annoy me too much

I thought it was just the Italian poster who supported Inter

A books title alongside with its cover is what makes me want to read it.
Of course I might drop it later if it annoys me but the aforementioned are what make me want to read a book mainly.

When two evil are fighting, you have to side for the lesser one

Can you get doxxed by uploading a voice recording to vocaroo?
Asking for a friend fr.

Very unlikely.
But everyone who is relevant is already under surveillance.

I am back to gaming (battle simulators).

TABS? R:TW? C&C: Red Alert 2?
You should always judge a book by its cover and/or title, since it's basically just trusting your gut.
Also, if an author can't be bothered to come up with a cool title, then his prose is probably terrible. My favourite author is H. P. Lovecraft and all of his stories have interesting titles.

I had just woken up on the warm sands of an unknown desert when suddenly, I heared movement to my right and from the top of a dune, I saw literal female perfection stumbling and bouncing down my way. It was then when I realised that I had died and woke up in Heaven.

I bought UEBS II and I might re-download TABS as well.

It's something about cloudflare.

Welp, then I won't worry about it, it's going to break every time for me with LaLiga's shenanigans.
I have a bias against "Article + adjective + noun" titles. Especially if they're nouns for people. Something like "The silent hunter" sounds unappealing to me. I also dislike the "Room/Case/Whatever + Number". I much prefer books whose title is a sentence, an adjective or a noun that is not referred to a person. I dislike the titles that follow a theme (I'm thinking about Jurado's Todo arde, Todo vuelve, Todo muere. But it's slop, so...).

My favourite author is H. P. Lovecraft and all of his stories have interesting titles.

I was going to mention him. I was also going to mention Sir Arthur Conan Doyle or Agatha Christie. I also like Camilo José Cela's titles: The family of Pascual Duarte; The beehive. Or Quevedo's picaresque novel: History of the life of the Swindler, called Don Pablos, model for hobos and mirror of misers. Or Martín-Santos: Time of silence.

They either give you a taste of what you're about to read or make you wonder how the title is related to the plot.

Two evils tua mamma

Forza nerazzuri

Barca don't seem that evil to me

C&C: Red Alert 2?

Excellent game

Unsure about whether to return home or stay for a longer while at the library. I'm not really doing anything important.

I bought UEBS II

TABS for the thinking man. I've never played it personally (though I've played a lot of TABS), since I was burnt out of those sorts of games by the time it came out.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle or Agatha Christie.

Other good examples of authors who knew the importance of titlecraft.

Works for video games too - when you see a title like "Geneforge" or "The Age of Decadence" or "Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura", you know you're in for a good time.

I've heard that, but I don't think I could ever get into those late 90s RTSs
missed me by about a generation, early 3D RTS games is where I spent my youth

'95 boomer moment warning: 2002-2008 RTS games, that was the golden age

I will post the recording at 7 PM.
I urge other /med/ders to choose a brainrot of their preference, record reading the text out loud, and share the voice recording in this thread at 7 PM.

These type of games can get a bit boring rather quickly unless you got some tournament/scenarios in your head to play out. I clocked some hours on UEBS I and given the price, I just decided to buy the second one.

Red Alert 2 was released in 2000 apparently but yeah I guess that's pretty close to late 90s

I played some C&C: Generals years ago, I didn't play it much but it seemed like a good game to me

Another bone I have to pick is with the English editions of books. Why do they have to be so colourful? Why can't they just do something similar to Penguin Classics? I believe even those are getting colourful editions nowadays. They can do something similar to picrel, which isn't an attack on the senses.

We're all biased by our formative experiences. Similarly, I could never get into games like Darklands, Betrayal at Krondor or anything before Ultima 7 because the UI is just too geriatric for me, I missed those by about a generation too.

I never gave Red Alert 3 or AoE3 a chance because the new "modern" 3D look put me off. For all I know, they could be great games, but I'm still going to confidently assert that Red Alert 2 is the best C&C game of all time.

This thread is not ready for my terrible English.

We're on the same side
Oh boy where do I even begin

apucostume.jpg - 860x1054, 88.17K

Red Alert 2 is the best C&C game of all time.

Based

My knowledge of football is pretty limited but I usually see Barca as the good guys compared to the bad guys Real Madrid

good morning everyone, last day in the cagie before vacations

not turning back down. Gotta do what you gotta do.

don't kill anyone Gman
also I heard in the radio that a politician was already clobbered in Gironde
at least now is only 120s and not 900
Moselle, please... just let it go man

by "90s" I was talking about the era of games right before 3d graphics took over
it's more about the technology than the hard date, Red Alert 3 is in the same generation as Age of Empires 2(1999), right before stuff like Empire Earth (2001) and Age of Mythology(2002) changed the genre, the early 2000s 3D RTSs

Age of Mythology(2002)

Army Men: RTS(2002)

Stronghold: Crusader(2002)

Empires: Dawn of the Modern World(2003)

Command & Conquer: Generals(2003)

Rise of Nations(2003)

Dawn of War(2004)

Age of Empires III(2005)

Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War(2006)

Company of Heroes(2007)

Supreme Commander(2007)

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3(2008)

Sins of a Solar Empire(2008)

not to mention Homeworld, Empire Earth, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Warcraft, those passed me by
I'm telling you, it was a golden age
right you are, because I liked both of those and for the most part don't care about modern releases
we'll all be old men and still be preaching to the world about how the games that came out precisely during our childhoods were somehow better
