To be fair, the coolest places I visited on my cross-country roadtrip were bumfuck nowhere.

Since it was a roadtrip I don't think it's doxxing to stay; I stopped off at a tiny ass town in Wyoming called Thermopolis. I loved that place. Little town with a population 2k sitting in the middle of a mountain valley, bumfuck nowhere. Peak.

Columbus Ohio, Richmond Virginia, Kansas City MO, St Louis MO, Duluth MN, Appleton WI, Traverse City MI, hippie cities, Baker City, Lincoln, Omaha, Madison, Charleston, Providence, New Haven, Silver City, Santa Fe, San Diego, Chicago, Chattanooga, Louisville, Bowling Green, Great Smokies, White Sulphur Springs WV.
