Cap or real?
Cap or real?
Americans: I'm traveling to France
France
Paris
Mont Saint-Michel (optional)
French: I'm living in France
France: Paris
That’s the case everywhere. Everyone goes to the major cities
tourist cities have everything in one spot, while the rest of the countries require you to take road trips if you want to experience other stuff. that isn't economical for visitors
Wow tourists travel to the most popular places
Also let's be real most tourist tour places to give themselves an excuse to spend $500 a day on fun, and you go to places where you can spend money to do so. You're not travelling to the Great lakes for vacation unless you are poor and near it or a shipping and logistics autist.
WDYM YOU WANT TO VISIT JEW YORK AND LOS GAYNGELES, AND NOT BEAUTIFUL NEW BUMFUCKSBURG (pop. 500) IN THE SWEET STATE OF IOWA??!
noooo KJAP-uh sheeeEEEeehhuuuhhhhuhiisssshhh
uhh... Sneed or Chuck?
Feed
sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiuuuuuuuuueeeeheeeeeesh

What is there to see pitside of these three states?
Besides corn fields
This image is so retarded
any place you visit within the US is the united states
DC is weird to exclude
soy fields
What, do you not like Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, and Buffalo?
Chicago is actually reviving I hear
Aspen if you are a wealthy yuppie or something like that.
Lately the US immigration centers...
Reviving? Chicago never died (what a shame if it had, as we would be living in a benighted world of Dallases, Atlantas and San Franciscos). You're thinking of Baltimore or Detroit or something, both of which have started growing again.
Jokes aside, I've met some people travelling to your Colorado ski resorts to try their "powder champagne".
Well yeah but it used to be like the most important city in America. It had the first skyscraper... Ever... Of anywhere.
My brother went to Nashville for work and enjoyed his stay, said the city center was really nice
Renting a car isn't that expensive.
Horrible taste. Nashville is a dumpster.
it's about using your 1 week efficiently
To be fair, the coolest places I visited on my cross-country roadtrip were bumfuck nowhere.
Since it was a roadtrip I don't think it's doxxing to stay; I stopped off at a tiny ass town in Wyoming called Thermopolis. I loved that place. Little town with a population 2k sitting in the middle of a mountain valley, bumfuck nowhere. Peak.
If I were to visit France like this anon said I'd want to go to bumfuck nowhere southern France or some shit. See kino like this.
The most beautiful places on Earth really. Upper Midwest (Northern Minnesota, Wisconsin, Northern Michigan and Upper Peninsula). Appalachia, Cascade Mountains, Sierras, Pacific Coast, Rocky Mountains, Idaho, high deserts of the southwest, low deserts, high deserts of the PNW, all of Utah, all the basins and ranges from Sierras to Rockies. Rocky Mountains. Tall grass prairie, Snake river, Mississipi River, Ozarks, northern woods, New England coast, Louisiana bayous, islands in the Great Lakes. Great Salt Lake. Countless others. Vast expanses you couldn't quench yourself with a dozen lifetimes. Delightful towns and second rate American cities. Columbus Ohio, Richmond Virginia, Kansas City MO, St Louis MO, Duluth MN, Appleton WI, Traverse City MI, hippie cities, Baker City, Lincoln, Omaha, Madison, Charleston, Providence, New Haven, Silver City, Santa Fe, San Diego, Chicago, Chattanooga, Louisville, Bowling Green, Great Smokies, White Sulphur Springs WV.
It never dethroned New York, but it's still top 5. Houston, Phoenix, and LA lack the depth, culture, and social diversity of Chicago still, and will likely never equal its impact as they start to collapse.
DC should be excluded, nothing of value for a foreigner there. Unless you like to see US hard power in the form of all sorts of police, and mediocre national museums, and ugly monuments.
flyover states don't have stuff to se-ACK
tl;dr flyover shitholes full of mouth breathing toothless fent smoking cletuses
I'll pass
nah, I refuse to go to a State with people retarded enough to elect the CEO of retards, Dorange Dump and I want to be in a more quiet place so Washington or Oregon seem fine
I want to see as many countries as possible.
Except the US.
I will sooner go to fucking Somalia or Afghanistan than the US.
I don't understand the mentality of not visiting a place due to politics. Seems small minded
i would visit any country regardless of its politics. If i could visit North Korea, I would
Yeah I mean we can't all be held up to the standards of Afghanistan politically, that isn't even fair
I was kidding, even if I'd feel a little disgusted to know I'm surrounded by MAGAtards
I don't really want to visit America, though
politics
I don't give a shit about politics, I can't name a single country with a political system I approve of.
Its the people. Yes, some of you are acceptable, but overwhelmingly you are the scum of the earth, living gluttonous lives at the expense of everyone else - being medicated into slug like beings by your corporate overlords - and when someone stands up against them you get on your knees and sloppily fellate the people who do everything to stop these heroes.
Fuck you, you obese braindead cunt
I know a family who traveled the entirety of Route 66, they are high class however
Yes, some of you are acceptable, but overwhelmingly you are the scum of the earth,
By your own admission you've never been here and interacted irl with americans. So your opinion is entirely baseless
there are no americans outside of america
you have to meet people in person to know them
its not enough to be under a military, economic, and cultural occupation of americans to know their black souls
Fuck off
Do people actually travel to America to go to Florida? Literally what is the point, if you want the climate and beaches there are THOUSANDS of better options
There's a perception based on how you guys behave online that you are willing to kill over minor culture war disagreements.
similar experience I had was Eagles Nest, NM
Small town with a buncha rest stops and tourist areas, but it's kinda dinky and poor. Mediocre food, and surrounded by big mountains which gave the feeling of being trapped
despite all that it felt kino, like a liminal space but a whole town
the lake is quite beautiful though
do you not live in the DC area? There's always tourists, both americans and foreign, I always see lots of asians
Those 3 encapsulate everything good the country has to offer. You really don't need more
Checks out, only been to Florida.
The roadside attraction culture in the US seems kinda kino though.
Sometimes I take my motorcycle and ride through nowhere low density areas, it feels great provided your vehicle doesn't break down.
