What is it with americans and pepperoni pizza? Pizza is supposed to be a modular thing that you can put anything on. Kinda like how you can put anything on a sandwich. So why are they so obsessed with only putting on this one single filling? I dont even have anything against pepperoni, great meat to be fair. But with all of the great stuff you can put on it, going to a restaurant and ordering a pizza with only pepperoni seems so fucking bland.
Every time I’m having another type of pizza, it feels like a waste since pepperoni is so good.
Pepperoni pizza is the default pizza.
I put pepperoni on everything, It's really nice when you toast up the bits and chuck it on macaroni and cheese,
What if you had pepperoni on the pizza and some other topping as well? Or are you actually sying that pepperoni by itself is somehow special?
Yeah I kinda understand that if you only had to have a single topping, then yeah pepperoni is pretty solid. Also if you are operating some sort of food stand and only selling individuals slices of pizza, pepperoni is a good and safe option that caters to all consumers. But what boggles my mind in when I see characters in american TV shows actually order pizza made from scratch and they have the options for all the topping they can have, and they still just go with plain pepperoni. It's just so strange how that single topping has such an intense stranglehold as the one and only thing that goes on the pizza.
Donair pizza is my new favourite.
mushrooms, olives, and anchovies
It's because we're so close to Norway. Pizza comes from Norway.
Pizza comes from Norway.
care to elaborate on Scandi pizza culture?
It was really America who made pizza a global thing and all the best pizza kinds are originated in America and then after WW2 those pasta niggers decided to capitalize off of that by suddenly deciding everyone in Italy was always crazy about pizza and now we have them making aggresdive hand signs whenevet someone tries to make a different variation of "their" dish
fuck so many typos i hate phoneposting
Pizza is Norwegian just like tacos are Swedish.
American style pizza is uncommon outside of the US. You just made all of that up, didn't you?
I know I can google this but I'm in a talkative mood, what are Swedish tacos like?

They're just tacos. How big is the taco aisle in your local grocery store?
I have Mexican markets near me operated all by Mexicans in all Spanish text. They're based because if they raised the prices then Mexicans wouldn't shop there.
