Russiabros I want your advice on this. I am talking to a Russian woman online and it seems that we share a lot in common. I am starting to like her and I do find her attractive (she is not pic rel btw).

But in the US, Russian women have a reputation for being very bossy, controlling, demanding, and mean. They are also very traditional and despise a weak man. These woman also have expensive tastes and expect their man to buy them expensive designer clothes, jewlery and to have many nice thing like a big house and a nice car.

Are the stereotypes true? Do you see this in Russia? Is it possible that the woman I am talking to could be a gold digger or a green card seeker? I want to trust her but I have seen and heard many stories about such women.

I cannot find a woman to be my wife here. Most of the women in my area that are aroudn my age (i do not want a much younger or much older woman) are not up to my standards because they are fat or single parents or on drugs or something like that.

I live in a weird part of the American South so there are essentially two types of women, 1 is the very few elite high class women who are basically gigastacies who descend from the plantation owners from decades ago. I have zero chance with these women. The other class, most of the women here, are the low class people I described above. There are very few women who are inbetween these categories.

From what I have seen, Russian women are more attracted to power, money, and status, unlike looks which American women seem to be more attracted to. I am an ok looking person I think, and in good shape, but I cannot get women over here so I tried my luck with Russian women.

Traditional not in the sense the they're really tradititonal, but that they expect you to be strong and provide for them in any case. If you didn't know the west lives by 50%-50% split in relationships by now.

As I said here I do not have much luck where I currently live so I am open to seeking a wife outside of my own country. I may seem desperate, and I probably am.

But I am also aware of what happens to a man if he doesn't find a wife in his 20s or 30s and that is not good. And I have alteady been looking since I was 18. I have several extended family members who never found a wife or husband and they are constantly judged by others, even silently. They have no real value in their life other than material goods and there is little motivation to be better or work harder or to provide for anything besides themselves. I had one cousin who remained a NEET his whole life and died in his 60s because he stayed inside and put puzzles together and watched TV in his parents house his whole life. He was miserable and even had to have limbs amputated because he moved so little and got diabetes. A horrific fate.

Now of course not all single people are like that, but I can see myself very easily falling into such a status. I have been in a few short relationships before that never worked out and the motivation I felt and the drive to succeed to start and have a family and provide was incredible. It was like everything was crystal clear and I could see my life plans. That is what I want.
