Rooting for Milkshake Man and Luxembourg woman, rest are pretty eh this semi

For me, it's Australia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Winland. I might just skip this semi thoughever because the hosts are insufferable.

I liked the Icelandic zoomers

vaeb.gif - 600x370, 3.76M

They were one of the "alright" among all of them.

i wait until final

Lumo has been shot in the back of the head backstage by Palestine activists

Thoughts and prayers

What a downgrade from Cyprus

kapsis.jpg - 1362x919, 1.22M

The Finnish representative is hot as hell and has the best song I hope she wins

Everything is boring need more eurovision kino

We have Australia

Malta is literally right there

The music videos for both Malta and Finland are horny as hell

serving.png - 1630x1303, 2.98M

i swear malta have only been sending fat bitches every year

watching mafs fills the void a little

Would breed unironically
Talking about breeding, >our song is about motherhood and making babies, pls vote for us (for the demographic future of Europe)

Albania mogged everyone yesterday. Even Sweden.

zjerm.jpg - 1600x1067, 272.09K

i watched it yesterday but i drank a bit too much and don't remember anything, was it any good?

the succubus is going to win, isn't she?

The only good entries were Iceland, Sweden, Albania, and Estonia if you're a redditor.

how do I get excited for this shit again

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUYYYYYEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

est.png - 4192x1124, 529.56K

the succubus

Poland or Finland? The only entry that can win is Austria, sadly. The juries will cuck everyone else out of having a chance at winning.
Listen to your entry

'em. Apparantly we'll be seeing them this saturday

will israel participate in it this time?

Sadly, yes.

Will you vote for her?

whens final
and also
we are scoring 0 again this year. thank you for your attention

Austria is probably getting the first ever 400+ points from the juries if I'm being honest

no

Can't wait to hear the crowd screaming CUNT during Malta performance, as long as they don't employ the Israeli anti booing technology to block it out

sleep paralysis demon

Luxembourg is very, very hot.

I think she could be a dark horse and could win

You will win thoughever

Fuck Portugal and their shit ass song
Henka should've won

Your song is great bros, fennoswedes keep winning

I hope this happens so everyone will cry how their favorite meme entry lost again
fuck käärijä

fuck netta
fuck kalush orchestra
fuck sergey lazarev
the public has shit taste too often

the public has shit taste too often

Not this year, as Albania is winning the televote. Screenshot this.

Austria's song is so shit.

Not a chance. Sweden is the fan favorite among casuals by a mile

For me, it's San Marino

file.png - 1260x710, 1.75M

I want Finland to win so I can watch this horny slag grind herself against a pole to completion and squirt all over the stage and the front row.

file.jpg - 850x491, 49.56K

by a mile

It's more likely that Austria will win the televote once we have seen their performance tomorrow

he thinks the televote will be swayed by performances

Joost got second place in his semi last year, slightly behind only vote-buying Israel, despite having by far the worst performance last year.

Is australia in?

Unless she's replaced her song with one that's actually good, no.

I feel like the only way for Austria to lose is if every single televote favorite (like Sweden, Israel, Estonia, Finland, and maybe some shockers) manages to get more votes than them, and if France and Switzerland manage to divide the jury vote enough. Otherwise it's a done deal.

juries might be scared to vote for it though after the backlashes in the last two years

Austria's performance seems to be pretty divisive if the press poll is anything to go by. That's a good sign at least
I don't think the EBU is scared of pissing off a few vocal fans. Nothing will ever top the controversy of Käärijä losing.

press poll

they had belgium 4th, cyprus 6th and slovenia 7th in semi final 1. dont forget who the journalists there are (all bottoms from meme outlets)

I wouldn't be shocked if the top 10 does look like this, with Denmark swapped out for Malta, Serbia, or Ireland.

Nothing will ever top last year's moment when this little faggot got roaring boos. Made him piss himself to much he decided to hide backstage this year

Seeing as Australia was invited to mark the 60th anniversary, who is going to be revealed on Saturday as the new one invited for next years 70th edition?

Liechtenstein

Tried to enter this year but didn't have a broadcaster sorted in time

Kosovo

Are broadcasting it this year and have openly said they want to join, it's just it would piss off some other countries if they were allowed in

Faroe Islands

Are broadcasting it this year and have said they want to enter themselves instead of just occasionally having a singer sent by Denmark

Canada

Celine Dion can call in to announce it this year, and Canada are in the process of pitching a song contest to broadcasters already with plans to enter Eurovision

Chile

Is broadcasting the final this year, and could be done for advertising/reveal of the apparently still in the works Eurovision Latin America which they're supposed to be the first hosts of

the return of a past country

For anti-climax, especially if it's just Moldova who are probably gonna be back next year anyway with a revamped national selection

nothing

For ultimate anti-climax

semi1.jpg - 576x412, 37.09K

Nothing ever happens. The only possibility I can imagine is them announcing that Monaco is returning

wasn't even his fault

are there any good eurovision youtube channels?

Montenegro

Is there some political controversy I'm missing here? Why does this song consistently rank so low everywhere I look? It's not winner material sure, but it's pretty good and she's a great singer, yet consistently ranks well below other female ballads this year despite being much better than most of them. What gives?

it's boring and indistinguishable from the average eurovision ballad

ESC Gabe is pretty good. He's very informative and heterosexual, so no annoying stan culture shit (not homophobic I swear). He likes to present personal opinions as professionally as possible to come off as objective, which can be a little annoying.
youtube.com/watch?v=IUKQQ4ffhWA
It's the most nothingburger ballad this year. Even Slovenia had slightly more substance in their song than Montenegro. It didn't even the Montenegrin national selection.
youtube.com/watch?v=zPNBz3Qk0DU

they could win again

lmao what is that thumbnail? switzerland will get 5-10 points from the public at the best. not even gonna click on that

But that's true of most of the ballads this year and many of them keep ranking in various forms of top 10 (odds, ranking lists, polls, etc) so again, why does she get the short end of the stick?

It's the most nothingburger ballad this year

This isn't even remotely true. You got Greece, France, Israel, Switzerland, etc that are at LEAST as nothing as Montenegro, with worse music backing the vocals, yet none of them get ignored the way Montenegro is being ignored.

It didn't even the Montenegrin national selection

This is the only thing that would make sense to me, people being salty that NeonoeN were disqualified, or that the jury completely screwed Baryak who absolutely should have won. But that's not Nina's fault.

5-10 points from the public at the best

Do you think the public only votes for the most reddit meme entries, and leave all the ballads at the bottom? I think the video would benefit you the most out of all people, honestly

You got Greece, France

These are good ballads, thoughever I agree that Israel's ballad is pure slop.

nice feet

greece will flop hard, isarel will get televotes because conservative politicians who dont even watch eurovision urge their voter base to vote for it to own the palestine supporting liberals. france seems to have good staging, something that neither montenegro or switzerland have got

they had a good idea with the single camera take performance but it doesnt actually suit the song and she's too ugly to be filmed that closely for that long. and switzerland has flopped the televote with jury bait songs for 4 years straight now

switzerland has flopped the televote with jury bait songs for 4 years straight now

This year doesn't exactly have a Måneskin. All Gabe is suggesting is that Switzerland is in play. Not that they are winning, period

It didn't even the Montenegrin national selection.

This. And I'm still mad.

Nina won the jury, but finished 4th in the televote. The televote winner (Dva srca by Baryak) got bombed by the jury, so Montesong was won by the song that finished 2nd in both jury and televote, which was this dadrock cringekino:
youtube.com/watch?v=It6x81MgAsE

But the online fandom of Benidorm gays got salty that their "robbed queen" had been "robbed" again. Nina is the same person from this song that failed to reach the finals because whilst it finished high in the televote, the jury tanked it youtube.com/watch?v=FR9rtB2ilZU , so the fandom are weirdly obsessed with her. And this was the first national final of the season too so it was the only thing for them to angry fixate on. Cue weird online harassment of the winning band. Sure enough, after a week, someone found a 3 second clip of the song being performed to a tiny crowd before the allowed date. Obviously this didn't give them an advantage because it took a month since the songs were available online to even make a connection, and there have been songs before that broke this rule and got away with it every year, including actual winner songs like Arcade. But the online fandom kept pressure on demanding a DQ until the band just went "fuck it, we're too old for drama, just let Nina do it".

I think the ultimate irony to it all is that if Nina's two Eurovision songs were entered the opposite way around, both would have performed far better and cruised to their respective finals.

My prediction for Saturday

1. Austria
2. Sweden
3. France
4. Israel
5. Greece

somone should make a this year's version

In a based world it would be
1. Albania
2. Sweden
3. Iceland
4. Australia
5. Finland

My idealized result:

1. Finland
2. Austria
3. Sweden
4. Albania
5. France

Israel had a nasty voicecrack during the jury show
