How bad is the job market in your country?

In America is impossible to get a job anymore

Try to imply in person

Get told to go to indeed/linkden

All job listings are fake

You have to constantly spam apply jobs just for a chance at a interview

85 percent of interviews get rejected

Even if you get the job

They are very trigger happy with firing people

You graduated college good luck trying to find a job in your field

Only way is through nepotism or sucking dick

try to imply

I think the problem isn’t the job market, anon…

Sounds like a skill issue, getting a job is pretty easy.

In the UK, you either work in some sort of high-paying tech job, in low paid retail/fast food/care work, or are unemployed.

It's so easy to get a job

My dad knows this guy

As a favor I got a job doing nothing but scratching my balls at the desk

Meanwhile most college students need 10 years experience and divine intervention

Im working in Tesla factory. Didn't even have to apply a recruiter just randomly reached out to me on indeed

You know how lucky you are?

Have you tried going to the company in person and giving the manager a firm handshake doe?

What year was this?

literally every family member i have in the US has a high paying job

They will look at you like a dumbass and tell you to just apply on indeed or their website

This is how it is here too. Stagflation is going to fuck us hard tho lmao

Honestly college grads are pretty dumb nowadays. They were raised as cattle but now they're pretty much useless that a machine can replace them

If this is true there a global war is needed

Low level jobs like store clerks are literally doing lottery with resumes, as they get over 2000 resumes for every single position

Like a few weeks ago

You guys are laughing but this could set back educated black women for decades since they are the first to be automated due to the simplicity of the tasks they perform

I dropped out of college to do blue collar work

phylogenetically, they're already set back to prehistory

i remember reading these same kinds of articles during the 2008 financial crisis when i was graduating college.
it's not ai, you're just unemployable. sorry to be the one to break it to you. if you were actually skilled you'd find a job within a few weeks.

Spain leads the EU in unemployment rate (10.6%). I suppose it's also inflated by the hordes of blacks and arabs that enter the country, but still.

i found a job within weeks of graduating college, but when i went back for my masters, i've been unemployed for 5 months after graduating.

Funny thing is that you could be the best person in that field and they will replace you with either ai or a Indian who will do it for 12 an hour

Same-ish (dropped out of college during my master degree though). Been a web developer for 2 years, I didn't like the job and I switched to a more blue collar job in engineering.

Your dumbass should have fucking stayed

I am kind of too old to be switching career paths I am 22 but failed to get an apprenticeship because there was 600 people applying and only 100 got the job.

I now have to wait til January and I will be 23 when that happens

tech companies realized they could just hire retarded jeets and scam investors out of money rather than making useful products that people want to buy.
the jeets give an illusion of growth, and they have no qualms with lying and boasting about their performance (persuading investors of progress)

too old to be switching career paths

I am 22

lmao

Itz yo fault nigga

Cuz you wuznt in krypto early tims

if i knew the future, i would buy lotto tickets.
if i stayed, I would have blown my brains out.

I'd rather have my job taken by AI than by some 3rd worlder who will also move in down the street from me and play awful music and make my city worse

Well you see when the opening for apprentices happens again I will be 23 so that's even worse

I chose the zogbot route to escape the shitty job market

Nigguh there are 30 and 40 year olds in my zogbot class

I switched career at 30...come on now be realistic

I just feel trapped I don't got much savings right now I have 7k Because of a 1k tax return

If you feel trapped then it's the perfect moment to do it.

I felt trapped too. But I needed a job and everything else became irrelevant

I am kind of too old to be switching career paths I am 22

I didn't even start working until I was 25.

I have a job and I'm treasuring it like gold. I'm saving every single penny I can.

The market is fucked and I'm sure I will be jobless for at least 2 years if I lose this one.

The truth is that the world is overpopulated. Wealthy businessmen will tell you that we need to increase birth rates, but in reality, we need fewer people to have a thriving economy again. If there is a large supply of workers, the value of labor will inevitably go down.

data genuinely implying we know how many people were on the planet 10,000 BCE

"Based on estimates"
Maybe this is why you can't get a job, fasto

"estimates"

meaning completely made up lol

It's not hard at all in any western country. I remember reading this shit as a teenager and stressing about it but it's just not true and if you have issues there is some really clear/obvious issue you're just not mentioning (usually non existent social skills, really shit university or impractical subject or unrealistic expectations)

In the USA I imagine the bar is even lower than the UK. Apparently the median college grad salary is $78k which is just nuts compared to here.

Well you could just suck dick.
