By the way, my grandparents had no intention of living in Brazil. The propaganda at the time was about working, making money, and returning, but they were deceived and never managed to go back to Italy, even leaving properties behind there.

How do you not even know your own ancestry? I think it's all a scam by unscrupulous law firms that fill the Italian courts with documents of dubious origin.
Here at home we spoke italian expressions (but not fluently) since my childhood, we always loved Italy and Brazil too. I'm 3/4 italian (the other 1/4 were spaniards).
