No car

Spain

Stfu. That's totally normal there.

no i have my groceries delivered to me
i havent been to a grocery store since before the pandemic

I'm a loser and I have a car, but I go to the supermarket by foot because it's only 2 blocks away from my house.

The train arrived, it's just a short 12min ride actually because I live in a very small town with no supermarket (only small overpriced stores) so I go to LIDL in a nearby bigger town. I see other people do that as well, but mostly old women, I am almost always the only male (loser)

I haven’t owned a car in six years and I don’t miss it at all. I did the math, and it’s a lot cheaper just to rent short-term on the rare occasions when I actually need one.

And I go grocery shopping on foot, because there are supermarkets three minutes’ walk down my street, or directly across the street from my office.

No intelligent person thinks this is loserly. You might still be a loser for other reasons; beats me. But taking the train to go shopping isn’t why.

I have a car and get shopping delivered by Asda because walking around a super market with hundreds of normie zombies with no consciousness is pure toil
Loser with no car. Get on yer bike son.

My car had to go to the junkyard last week and I can't afford a replacement

I did the math, and it’s a lot cheaper just to rent short-term on the rare occasions when I actually need one.

Show me the math please because I haven't seen something as unaffordable as those "share a car" rentals. Makes the train seem cheap by comparison

I'm legally blind, I can't drive. Wish I could, but even if I could, I couldn't afford it.

why are hairy legs allowed

Same age, I use my bicycle.

This is stupid and cute.

I've also moved using my bikes.

Try Uber Eats grocery shopping if it's availlable in your area. the first 6 months or so you get insane discounts making it same price or often much cheaper than actually wasting your time physically going to the store. Take the Pajeet grocery delivery pill nigger. Supermarkets
also often have their own delivery service thing.

honestly, i prefer walking everywhere
if this country had decent sidewalks, i'd just walk and walk and walk

Nice calves cardio friend (no homo)

what i hate though is how disproportionate it looks to the rest of me
i've got hobbit feet and a long torso

I did the opposite route.
I had a car for 8 years but i got rid of it and now take public transport everywhere because i want to save as much money as possible

Cars are too expensive and why would you enrich the oil, garage and insurance jew ?

I have two major grocery stores and a huge mall within walking distance so no.

You sound like a massive loser (and you deserve to be beheaded for those shit strollers blocking everyone else on the train). Even when I don't have a car I rent one for big shopping trips

Based roller bag user.
I need to buy one.

do you guys have no family or friends outside the city? Do you just spend your whole existence within city boundaries? That just seems incredibly depressing to me, I am glad whenever I can leave the city and breathe country air again.
Also I'm a spontaneous person, I need to be able to on a whim decide to go somewhere just hop in my car and I can go literally anywhere.

There's literally a reserved space in the train for strollers dumb american.

based cycleCHAD

I don't live in a city. Why you assumed that. If I lived in a city I would just go walking.

I cycle into the countryside pretty often.

Show me the math please because I haven't seen something as unaffordable as those "share a car" rentals.

I’m afraid I threw the relevant envelope away years ago, but the service I use ends up costing CHF100-120 for a full day, all in. Fuel is “free,” insurance is included.

Taking longer rentals or bigger cars into account, my annual expenses on driving average about CHF1500. A bit more some years, a bit less some years. I would pay nearly as much just for insurance, and the same again for a garage space in my apartment building. So I’m confident that I spend less than I would on my own car even before I add in fuel.

I doubt it works out for everyone, but for someone like me who doesn’t actually need to drive regularly it’s a good deal.

do you guys have no family or friends outside the city?

My entire family and friend group live within picrel.

Why are you as hairy as me ?

Based. I am thinking of getting rid of my car

looks comfy, still with a car you could make longer trips to swedens outback nature, I feel like especially in a country like sweden a car would pay off massively, you have so much untouched nature ripe for exploring if you got a car

I just rent a car when I wanna go exploring. Or take the train and then hike.

I have a car but the supermarket is a couple blocks away so I do my grocery shopping by feet if I don't need to many things.

Indigenous Americans called Portuguese "monkey" because they were too hairy

with train you are dependent on the schedule and rental cars are more expensive than owning a car yourself if you plan to do something more than a couple times a year

Not in my beautiful desert. How much did you spend??? i always have tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, beans (yes, i fucking love them), eggs, mozzarella (yes, i'm a fatso), 0 calories soda, ramen and pasta in my kitchen and i spend like $25 USD ($500 MXN) per week (including alcohol)

Is that a gay flag
I don't know how many karma points I should stack to rebirth as swede man

Soc betalar flyttbil men du är en duktig goj som låter dem ha råd med fler invandrare istället

with train you are dependent on the schedule

I have no times to keep.

rental cars are more expensive than owning a car yourself if you plan to do something more than a couple times a year

I rent one maybe 10 times per year. A LOT cheaper than paying for parking, insurance, maintenance and all that. I used to own a car. Never again.

Soc betalar flyttbil

Har inget med Soc att göra. Har sjukersättning sedan 2015.

renting a car for 1 week ten times costs you about $ 6000 here and that is one of the cheaper options (Hyundai i20), that is a lot more expensive than insurance and maintenance of a similar car in one year, gas isn't included but you have to pay that yourself in a rented car as well

desu unless you're rich a car is just a huge pain om the ass
repairs, maintenance, insurance, fuel, tax parking, retarded drivers on the road
i would rather just use public transport or walk, at least that way i can zone out or do something else

renting a car for 1 week ten times costs you about $ 6000 here

Jesus..
I rent at Circle K.

369 kr /€35 per day

100km per day (you can drive more but they had the extra km's on the tab) so in a week you can drive 700km without extra fees

I'm 62. At 7 my dad drove a Plymouth Fury, at 15 a Chrysler Newport Custom. When I was around 17, ,during the late 70s disco era, my dear old dad would hand over about $200 (around $800 in today's terms) to let me and my elder sister loose with the car for grocery hauls. These days I live in a rather remote or rural setting, but think nothing of hauling home my own weight in grocery shopping across 30 miles in the capacious trunk of my big ol' sedan. There are dawbbacks to life this far out in the boonies, but if you can afford to live in, say, Munster IN or Geneva IL, the time and distance and weight matter even less. .

The real question is why are you hairy. Body hair is a graecoroman thing.
