japs need constant reassurance to keep up their delusion of superiority now that their once shithole neighbours have completely surpassed their country. you can see the same sort of cognitive dissonance amongst hongkongers when it comes to anything china as well.

there's no national pride in incestuous marketing, it just reeks of desperation

Yeah but, did you know that...

Japan is the only country on earth with 4 seasons

Natto and seaweed are only edible by japanese people, we gaijins cannot digest it

Japanese taxis have automatic doors

Japanese intestines are longer than those of other humans

the Ainu are not native to Japan, they are descendants of russian mercenaries sent by Joseon dynasty, and therefore Japanese people are a pure indiluted race unrelated to any other on Earth

AIDS doesn't exist in Japan

Japanese brains are different from every other race's brains, the distribution of functions on each hemisphere is different

Japanese rice is superior and only japanese people can digest it

Japanese language protects you from covid due to the mouth postures

Racism doesn't exists in Japan because it's the most homogeneous country in the world

Japanese people are descended from a different hominid than the rest of humanity

in Japan, green is actually a shade of blue

90-98% of japanese population is middle class

There is an invisible dragon that protects Japan

Promoting the good things about your country is healthy. Only jews and communists think otherwise

promoting to whom exactly?

Was them spamming 100 threads a day with how they're better than your country not enough of a dead giveaway? Or them going into random threads talking about how much better they are then your country?

The internet. Whoever happens to click on that video

yeah, the Japanese speaking side of the internet... Japanese content about how great Japan is meant to be viewed by the Japanese...

There is an invisible dragon that protects Japan

Except that one time. And the other time, but it was shortly after the first so really it’s just once

You forgot to mention that Japanese, due to their amazing gentleness (yasashisa) can't communicate with foreigners because foreigners are too rational (rikutsuppoi).

Triggered chang?

Japan is on the reverse Plaza Accord. Plaza Accord (1985) was meant to depreciate USD (which had become too strong), by forcing appreciation of JPY.

In contrast to the Plaza era, Japan is now effectively being allowed to depreciate the currency. This benefits Japan’s exporters, stock market valuations, inflation targets (finally hitting 2% CPI target).

China is the main trade target now. Japan is seen as an ally in the West’s economic bloc, so the US tolerates Weak Yen.

South Koreans are just Japanese 2.0. They are better than Japanese in every way with none of the autism. This has caused immense suffering to the Japanese psyche.

You seem to know a whole lot about the mysteries of J economics and how its apparent weaknesses are actually hidden strengths. Care to explain how the fact that the average J minimum wage hovers around 1000yen ($7 / hour) is actually a strength?

Trump knows

"Japanese weak currency sounds good to stupid people, but it is a disaster for American manufacturers and others. This is what made Japan into a behemoth."

These contents have become popular since the mid 2010s here, and in the case of Japan, it is likely a psychological compensation to make up for a decline in economic status, while in the rest of Asia it is simply part of a third world phenomenon.

By your logic Zimbabwe should have become a major economic power.

his algorithm will trigger toyota or any number of companies with a market capitalization of $1 trillion or something

Gook here. Koreans (worst) don’t do this. They criticize to make their cunt better and don’t take shit for nothing

wasn't he the guy who was crying on twitter cause he got his ass handed to him by a chinaman after trying to instigate?

Understand the basics of economics:

Currency depreciates -> Current account balance improves -> Total demand increases -> IS Curve shifts to the right

When the currency depreciates, Japanese goods are cheaper abroad. Exports rise, imports fall, and net exports increase. Japanese consumers shift from imports to domestic goods. Firms respond to stronger demand, and investment and production rise.

All of this pushes the IS curve to the right.

Japanese content about how great Japan is meant to be viewed by the Japanese...

A lot of those videos are directed at an English speaking audience

Export values are not much different between Japan and Korea, but there is a large gap in corporate profits. You know why? Because Japanese firms promoted local production during the Strong Yen period, resulting in an increase in current receipts, including dividends from overseas investments.

Japan turned a Strong Yen into a foreign-asset empire. Today, it earns like a rentier nation, not just from what it exports, but from what it owns.

Your logic of "we are ethically superior to X because of Y" also seems like a form of your typical patriotism. And Im hearing a lot of these from you guys lately.

What causes this?

Lack of confident.

Back when Japanese industry and economy were strong, people here were talking how bad and backward Japan was.
