I remembered doing final primary school exam, and the points for that were allocated and then used to determine which class you could enlist for in high school.
One of the tasks was to read a wall of text that provides a context for the highlited word, in this case, compromised (kompromitovati). There were maybe 4-5 suggested options. Maybe it was less obvious than I made it sound especially with similiar suggested answers, don't remember now but should be doable if you think for 3 seconds.
I did it without a breeze because I'm not retarded but my whole generation (in the entire country) was seething and complained to the judges because "it was too hard".
I noticed that Balkanites struggle with reading cues from a given text, it's a reccuring pattern. I've talked to professors that say that we do the worst in the tasks where you're given information and asked to take something out from the text, information for example. For some reason reading is very confusing to people.
However I think Balkanites have a high "knack" for things and do well in logic, just look at how cars and tools are a core part of Balkan autism.
My HS class had all kinds of people but everyone could do somewhat "high" level logic for that age in this one class, that focused on long logical tasks. Yet many of them did struggle with reading, again.
