I know for at least the Irish course, AI made it completely useless. It replaced the native speaker audio with a TTS that can't pronounce the language correctly (probably because it was trained on L2 speakers, who vastly outnumber natives).

Anki is a flashcard system made by users to users. Duolingo is a shitty platform for lazy users who won't bother to take real language classes with an actual teacher. AI just make Duolingo even more shittier and lazy
