Out of curiosity, how do you guys spell Macaroni in Bulgarian or Bulgarian-English? In Farsi-English it is spelled “makaroni” because the pronunciation is different.

I reckon you'd be more likely to find someone refer to an individual spaghettus as a 'strand' of spaghetti than a noodle of spaghetti but it's obviously talked about in plural

I think calling spaghetti “noodles” is an American English thing. Both noodle and spaghetti can be interchangeable depending on the dish and context.

A few weeks ago I got recommended a video of penguinzo and in the first 10 seconds he was refering to ACTUAL spaghetti as noodles, I have never wanted to cleave someones skull as much as in that moment.

We don't do this. We'll just say what it is. Maybe boomers will say it + noodle but I don't know anyone that does that.
