I never had a PC that could run the current games. I'm always at least 10 years behind in terms of technological capabilities. For my current laptop, 2014 is about the time where it cuts off my options.

I thought that only happened to us, not to the yuros

All the best games have already been made. Deus Ex, Doom, Fallout 2, Painkiller, Age of Empires II, Heroes of Might & Magic II & III, Morrowind, Patrician III, Resident Evil I-III...

You aren't missing much.

I have 2014 laptop as well, shit takes 10 minutes to boot, and sometimes it freezes just from browsing web. It's so annoying.

You're really missing out

I bought an expensive laptop when I got my first real job excited to play all those great games I missed over the years because of shitty PC, but I was only disappointed.

i was like this for awhile, then i finally had some money and built a high end gaming pc two years ago and then basically stopped playing video games

I still like video games but it's just hard to find time. Things are coming together though and I'm hoping to have a lot more leisure time to game and work on projects.

you have masses of amazing AMIGA, DOS, NES, SNES, N64, PS1, PS2 etc etc etc game to play absolutely free thanks to emulators

Just buy one? 1k euros gets you a supercomputer that runs everything on max.

i have one from 2009 that still boots within half a minute, but starting FF takes 2 minutes, and sometimes VLC completely freezes everything
got a new one last year
buy Dell

I’ve only had it good enough to run modern games at medium settings but I’d push it to high and deal with fps drops
I’m sure one day I’ll actually get a proper high end pc but I’ve played nothing but consoles for the last decade

Why would you need to play anything other than Diablo 2, Warcraft 3, Oblivion, Trackmania Forever and resident evil?

Nta but we are third world.

gaming sucks ass anyway

I didnt have a laptop that could run current games until I got a job at 18 then the laptop got stolen when I was mugged by blacks. Now I have a shitty work ,laptop that can only browse Anon Babble and I' 21. Be happy with you situation.

I only care about one game I play (League) and I can play it with just about any PC.
So Idc much. PC is good enough for what I need (i5-11500 and GTX 1650).

Dell and Asus have never failed me, but never buy anything from their budget series. They take advantage of their brand's standing to produce some absolute stinkers.

So when are you emigrating?

i have swollen battery it might go boom

I love my country im never emigrating. Kys

I keep upgrading my PC every year and I still only play random indie games, older single player titles and random multiplayer games that doesn't require much.
Just got a 9070 XT.

Said no Afrikaners ever

Ce rang esti?

New games suck anyway. Just play HOMMIII and you’re set

Says every afrikaner with a financial investment into the country. Poor farmers don't apply, they're as retarded as American rednecks and would do us better off there.

One day soon the government will reclaim not only he land but also the financial investments in the name of black equality (nationalism), and you'll be stuck with little to nothing

Nu prea joc ranked, eram silver in sezonul trecut.
Mai mult joc ARAM sau cu amicii jocuri custom, de distractie

My laptop can only run eroges
Not that I complain though

Kek you know nothing about the country. ANC is almost completely bought out by white businesses. There are 2.7 million private security while police numbers only 150 thousand. If only you knew what was really going on

I still use my old desktop with rtx 3080 and i7-8700k but this year I will be upgrading to a laptop with rtx 5080 (I travel a lot so need mobility)

Don't upgrade any further, they didn't make any good video games after 2014.
Just mod Skyrim LE with graphics stuff it looks better than most new games too.

How dangerous is it to visit your country as a white couple? I live in reunion, so quite close. I'm interested in the Kruger park and maybe cape town. Though I feel like renting a car might be dangerous.

weird, dell i'm talking about was in the low price range. less than €600. but then they might have had higher standards and things were more made to last
also didn't update it in over 8 years so that might have helped, but now the power button doesn't even work anymore so i've stopped using it even though it's still functional. back in the day ran crysis like a charm

The touristy places of Cape Town is safer than even Paris surprisingly. As long as you get a good hotel in the right place.

buy £300 GPU

still just play emulators of 2000s games

It's a simple life

I see. So I'd need to fly to Johannesburg then straight to cape town and stay there.
How long should I stay in the park?
Do you have any local advice or recommendation?

I only play mount and blade, CK2, and Rimworld, not interested in new slop. My shit computer is good enough.

My lelnovo lenion RTX 4070 that I bought to play 2000's and earlier games runs even the newest dogshit UE5 slop at 2K.

but I was only disappointed.

Same, I think there's a word for it "arrival fallacy"

Doesn't run Cyberpunk on max thoughalbeit
And it will probably run GTA 6 on minimum settings

I'd recommendy ou visit Kirstenbosch which is one of the world heritage sites for the highest plant biodversity. Proteas which are nearly extinct still grow there which are like tree sized flowers. Waterfront and the Two Oceans aquarium and planetarium there is also nice places and prices aren't bad if you're a tourist.

Otherwise if youj're looking to see local wildife
the northern parts of the country near the Kalahari is best. I definitely wouldn't recommend it if you're new to travelling though, Most of the areas are very uninhabited and robberies are common

Thanks, I screened your post.
Yeah first I'd like to be safe. I want to see animals and plants mainly, and walk around the city a bit. Nothing too risky. I wasn't sure how to organize the whole thing. Any neighborhood you'd recommend for an hotel?

you aren't losing anything, trust me

Bloubergstrand which is near the city has a lot of hotels near the suburbs mostly situated around the residential areas where a lot of people from Cape Town live. I stayed in one hotel around there for a weekend it was about 35 euro a day roughly equivalent and very highrise. Ocean view is very nice.

Cool thanks mate.

Are u being targeted by niggers?

games never really had to be good looking, they were still just games and the graphics was just extra on top of the mechanics. counter-strike was just as good when you had blockhead models etc.
