I've lived here for 1.5 years.

More brown than I expected. There's lots of blood from other LATAM countries, e.g. Paraguay, Bolivia, and Venezuela. You find white-ish Argies but they're a dying breed it seems.

They have a sarcastic, shit-talking, and self-deprecating sense of humor.

They're much quieter than I expected. They're only loud during football matches or while partying. During their day-to-day routine they're generally quiet.

They're very ignorant of the world outside Argentina. Most of them don't speak any language other than Spanish and are too poor to travel anywhere far away. Those in Buenos Aires especially don't know anything outside of Buenos Aires.

They stop each other on the street a lot of ask for directions.

They value human relationships and having a good time at the expense of pretty much every other aspect of life. As an American I find it refreshing since it's a nice change of pace from the money/work-based culture I'm used to, but also a bit annoying sometimes when you want to get something done, and I've come to believe it's a major contributing factor to the economic woes of the country.

Their culture is very monotonous and repetitive. Every holiday they do the same thing, every day they eat the same food, every vacation they go to the same places (and generally do exactly what they do in Argentina). Every neighborhood also looks more-or-less the same as every other. They'll tell you "hey go this this barrio, it's so different" but then you go there and it's the fucking same as everywhere else.

They observe a weird mix of orderly and disorderly behavior. For example, they form lines for everything, are very patient no matter how long the line, and will not cut you in line, but when walking down the sidewalk they have very little regard for anyone else. No one keeps to one side, people stop in the middle of the sidewalk and force everyone to squeeze by them, and will generally inconvenience others with not a care in the world.

There seems to be a lot of retarded/disabled people here. Every day you'll see at least 2 or 3 people with down syndrome or some obvious mental disability.

People are nice to beggars and street vendors. They'll chat and joke around with them instead of just saying no thanks and moving on. In the US we're more cold toward them. I think it's because here they put the dangerous/crazy people in asylums whereas in the US we let them run amok on the street, leading people to be more cautious.

They're unabashedly cheap. When deciding what to do on the weekends whatever is free will always take priority even if there's something more fun to do. Probably a habit that comes from decades of financial uncertainty.

They're obsessed with dogs. Almost everyone has a dog and they take them everywhere. It gets to a point where you interact with as much dogs as you do people in a given day.

They like doing things in groups. You see lots of people grouped up taking a class or a tour or attending some big gathering. They like being a big hordes of other Argentinians. Also like 90% of their news/podcasts involves 5-6 people all talking over each other.

I've experienced the Russians and Venecos you're referring to, and I can understand why you hate them. The Venecos bring their 3rd world crime habits here and the Russians are pushy and selfish and don't bother to integrate. But you should be welcoming the American with open arms. We're basically top-tier immigrants/expats. We're curious, cheerful, outgoing, open and positive. I haven't come across a single obnoxious one yet. Maybe you've had bad experiences with Americans in whatever shitholes you've been to (where the sexpats and other undesirables go), but Argentina seems to attract the good ones. Probably due to the fact that it's far away, doesn't have a lot of hookers and drugs, and doesn't have beautiful beaches and resorts that cater to gringos.
