Is there a term for this? I can follow along most podcasts and youtube videos I consume without subtitles, but for some reason movies and tv series are so damn hard to understand, the same applies for songs.
The term for different speaking styles (based on formality, for example) is "register." You're probably more familiar with higher registers.
i know how to pronounce english, but i wont bother doing that
anything more than 5 vowels is greed, why would i use 12?
I was able to read computer science , bioinfomatics papers in English when I didn't know the meaning of 'What's up'

It's okay to be a twink
It's not the vocabulary but rather the way they articulate the sounds. It's like they don't pronounce the words completely and use extensicely weak forms, that is extensive use of /ə/
that's interesting
Imagine having an issue with schwas. lmao

ISTPs are the ones who are impulsive but willing to accept change
It's not about producing it, what I try to say is that in casual speech many vowels get reduced to schwa. for instance, 'what do you have?' sounds like /wəʔ də jə hæv/

I speak English very well and most Serbians on Anon Babble probably do too. You kinda have to be exposed to the English language and "anglo culture" in general in order to even know about this place since it's not very mainstream where we live. At best people think it's a Nazi site if they've heard of it so they stay away
