Dalmatia is actually not that good to live in because their entire economy is based on mass tourism which overcrowds the towns and makes everything extremely expensive. Not to mention it's only the coastal towns and islands (which suffer from worse connection to the mainland) that are good, continental Dalmatia in the mountains is literally Bosnia tier.
North Croatia is a good place to live, that's where most of our industry and population is after all. It's flat and has a good connection to Central Europe and the capital. Only Istria and Kvarner are maybe slightly better because they have the best of both worlds.
