Do americans really
Do americans really
Yeah we really do film things on phones
How does it work though?
Explain it then, mr. smart
You're eyes shoot laser beans that turn reality into easily digestible Facebook memes
Vids like these make me understand how they elected Trump twice desu
It's a portal to an alternate dimension, it doesn't see the egg, it's an egg from another universe. So it might have subtle differences, like that egg may harbor a homosexual chicken as opposed to a regular protestant chicken.
these niggas literally never took a single physics class
didnt expect the italian to chip in
physics is communism
Never learned this in physics
posts some incomprehensible drawing instead of a clear explanation
Dr. Strange is manipulating Quantum physics with the fist of power that Iron Man and Superman stole from The joker o algo
This whyy niggas knew mirrors is magick nigga this aint good nigga i tried this yall it really be like this
so are you saying it's Bix Nood or something?
Yeah but how come there are no lines between the object in the mirror and the object in front of it? Just admit you don't know how it works either.
i still don't get it and im even not american
funny... Kill yourself corny ass nigga
Everything you see is basically light being reflected on objects and thats not only mirrors
I hope you guys are baiting about not understanding this
I mean what we see is light that has been reflected off of objects and enters our eyes and our brain just interpret it
How can the light from the egg behind the paper get reflected onto the mirror though? The paper is opaque, so the rays from the egg would be blocked by the paper.
they probably didn't
it's not always required coursework, especially if there are multiple science tracks in a given state or school district
Nigga you understand that a fucking mirror doesn't reflect the light to a single place right? it fucking reflects to every fucking angle possible
godamn i'm really amongst midwits
i really expected it from americans.. but europeans
The flag you're replying to is American and also that anon is clearly trolling you.
I know what you're trying to say but the paper is wide enough that it would catch the rays from the egg even from other angles like this.
Light comes from literally ALL angles not just a single straight line.
I think the dissonance happens because there's a switch in perspective
because they themselves are still observing the egg with their own eye, they forgot that the camera itself acts as a perspective,
if we remove the camera and replace it with a human, and they walked to the side, it'll be very intuitive to them like, "of course i can see the egg, I moved to a different angle"
Unless I'm like fundamentally misunderstanding what their confusion is
If you looked straight at the egg then it wouldn't appear in the mirror.
Wait holy shit I get it now, I'm so fucking dumb. Objects appear flipped left to right in the mirror, and when your line of sight hits the mirror it flips on the perpendicular line to the plane of the mirror, which then angles into the left to right mirror of the original object.
nah, they just think that because the paper acts as an obstacle between the egg and the mirror, then it should prevent you from seeing the reflection from the different angles where the egg is reflected in the mirror. it stems down to lack of perception of your surroundings
wrong. It's magic
Your eyes see light coming in from a wide angle. It’s not like you can only see a tiny laser dot in front of you and nothing else.
what the fuck are you talking about
this is the textbook definition of when someone says "i got it!" and then says the most insane shit possible
No I got it now. You know how text is the wrong way if you look at it in a mirror? It's because the mirror view is flipped. When your eyeline hits the mirror, it reflects off the perpendicular line to the mirror (to flip it left to right) and gets around the paper.
yeah, that's magic
americans come to realise they are living in a virtual reality
shut it down
Why the fuck would i take a physics class?
