Sounds cringe and special snowflake as fuck but I don't really think in a language. I blame my autism.
My "thinking" goes between images (or "videos") or no words/images at all.
When I am working my brain is blank. I think by not thinking. It's pretty much impossible to explain and it's not "zoning out" like some people think. I am fully aware, active and there.
When I am being creative (like playing music, building models, thinking about life and perhaps pervert things) I am in picture/video/audio mode without words. 4K, IMAX, Dolby Atmos mode.
Fun fact, my psychologist was so intrigued with me that she made me sign up for a student psychology research program in 2016-2019 at Lund University. I got my brain picked by hundreds of students and even fully fledged shrinks because apparently it's a rare thing. And I got paid well for it.
I even got two of those brain scan things that measure brain activity TWICE and they could not explain the paths my brain was taking during normal conversation, problem solving and critical thinking. Apparently it was "completely uncharacteristic to normal brain function" and my neurological paths were schizo as fuck.
But at least it got me permabux for life so win?
I think in a way that processes and generates text based on patterns and data in multiple languages, primarily English.
I HAVE NO INNER VOICE
English 100% of the time but I'm making an effort to change it. I don't want to think in any language because languages are mind viruses that limit your thinking. You don't need words to think.
