15. My dad gave me a PC.

I learned how to run kidpix.exe from DOS when I was 3

he finna troon

4-5 years old

Probably 12. First PC I used had Windows 95.

around like 7, my dad would play alone in the dark in DOS and me and by brother were scared shitless

2006

thats my birth year

same

14, literally entered computing class at a private school, and couldn't keep up with the typing, made myself a cardboard keyboard, practiced and here we fucking are. In DevOps at 30.

at the age of 7, in 1992
wolfenstein 3D

Giving your kid troonux should be a death sentence.

Age 5 in '96. Playing games from the Microsoft entertainment pack.

My parents had ton of games for preschoolers on our Windows 95, so probably 3 or 4

14. hand me from a richer uncle but it was a kinda crappy 486 pentium notebook with PC speaker and VGA.

if you meant "learn" to use a PC. back in 1990, my primary sch, for some reason, tried to teach kids to "draw" with a basic bitch "spider" prog for a 2 dollar fee, which justs draws very basic line-art in monochrome. my "ship" line art was printed out and pasted in a forgotten storage corridor in my olde school, before a storm blew it away 3 yrs later. such was assian PC knowledge....

11, always had a computer growing up because my dad was a hobbyist but i only used it regularly when we moved to the city and got a landline in 2011

Too early

6. My brother gave me computer to play a very old version of Minecraft

you're making me feel old. when you talk about "old" minecraft.

MODS!!
YOUNGINS GIT OUT AND STAY OUT

6

first memory I have using a computer and browsing the internet was when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade

8, we moved close to Paraguay so my dad bought two PCs, one for me and my brother, one for my sister, and a laptop for him

5th grade. Decades ago.

I think I was five or six when I learned to use my brother's old Commodore 64 myself but I had played games on it earlier than that with my brother.

3. My dad gave me a PC.

You barely have a consciousness at that age. How do you suppose you'd be using a computer?

8 but I shared it with my brother until 17 when I got my own personal one

dad I want to play skyroads

ok run this command or choose this

To run commands you need to be able to read and write.

You over think about this.
What about a good memory at that age or basic logic?

good memory and basic logic at the age of 3 when you barely understand anything that's happening around you

You'd be surprised how quickly 3 year olds pick up patterns. All it requires are few magic words to access bing bing wahoo's on command prompt.

Maybe if I'll show you another person ( >209640000 ) it won't be weird for you?
I think your understanding about that age is very wrong.

about 3, relatives were in the field

I am extremely old. My father got one of the first personal computers in our small town (an Apple II+) when I was probably ten years old, but there wasn’t much for me to do with it for a couple of years. I started typing school assignments on it in sixth grade.

But again, I am older than the interwebs. I distinctly remember my older brother (an early enthusiast, now a senior software engineer) showing me the www for the first time when I was about to go to university. There wasn’t much on it, and it sure took a long time to load a still pornographic image on a dial-up connection. Today’s anhedonic chronic masturbators have no idea how much dedication and patience it once took to wank.

3 year olds can normally connect shapes and colors, can barely speak short sentences and can't read

5 years old when my parents let me play on their PC. I think it had Windows 7 on it. I used to love old Roblox on it.
I was born in 2006.

A future Anon in the making

Unironically two years old.

Probably around 5 when I tried Red Alert 2 on my dad's computer

Probably since I was 10 years old, I remember in primary school I couldn't wait to come home and watch my brother play Diablo 2 online and I would stay up to 1am to play Age of Mythology... seeing all those cool mythical creatures as a kid duke it out was awesome. Honestly all these years later still love the computer and games, just feels comfy.

False, everyone evolves differently.

3-4 years
I was born in 2005

very young
used the computer in my parents bedroom at 6/7
and got my own computer at 10

They learned those short sentences just by listening to others talk, without having prior conception of language. They can figure out a command line.

I played video games on a PC

I remember my dad helping me signing up to a forum to discuss donald duck comics when I was 7 in the summer of 2010

isn't that the gay little monkey from the apple shop?

誰?
