I did have an original Xbox as a young teen because my older brothers saved up for one and gave it to me during Christmas when I was 13. Sadly I couldn't afford any games except a few second hand titles at GameShop (our version of Gamestop). And about a year later my dad sold it for booze money when I was at school..
I am old as dirt now but I built my first gaming PC two years ago and got hooked. This year I built my second PC, spent more money than my dad ever could have dreamed about.
I have a solid group of similarly aged people I talk and game with from all over the world and I have even figured out modding.
