Serious question, serious answer: I don't watch the news anymore. Instead I go on the news' website and I only read the one paragraph long summary under each picture. (Sometime, but only sometimes I click on that an read more.)
And I don't watch suspicious webms anymore, or Youtube videos for which you "must confirm your age". If I can see from the first frame still picture of the WEBMs that it is harmless, like a dancing cat or something, I may watch it.

Most armies used to hand out real awards for bravery. IIRC there was a Roman award for leading the assault during sieges and if you managed to survive your entire family would be made forever and you'd be in the highest political circles. Fast forward to today and all you get is a cuck medal and the VA will cheat you out of proper medical care

Feel like the problem is that people are sometimes genuinely retarded to the point where it makes sense to not care if they die. Like, lots of people will relate to not caring as much about gore as long as it's Russians on the receiving end.

To truly be a good person, you probably have to manage to go beyond and embrace that people are fucking shit and easily influenced sheep and still see the good. I unironically admire people who can do it full stop. They could put an end to wars.

If your chances are shoveling shit in the same field for your entire life or maybe seeing foreign lands and raping/pillaging a bit you might consider things differently.
