USA water sucks

Why is all the water in the USA SO FUCKING SHITTY

imb4 b-but New York

No. It ALL sucks. It's overly chlorinated and doesn't even satiate thirst. It's like living in hell. Constantly eating but always feeling hungry. Constantly drinking but always thirsty.

This nigga drinking out of swimming pools

I'm not even joking about this - in several parts of the country the water chlorine levels are measured with swimming pool equipment.

Anywhere in the southwest (Phoenix, San Diego, Vegas ) has SUPER high chlorine levels.

Then buy a fucking filter you digger
Store rainwater or something

Why?

rainwater

vegas, Phoenix, San Diego

Are you retarded

The water sources in that part of the country are notoriously bad, but anywhere in the country I think it's just the default to pump a shit ton of chlorine into the water and hope it'll evaporate out

I'm in Seattle temporarily and I thought the water would be amazing here. This city is literally surrounded by fresh clean water sources. Even here it smells strongly of chlorine out of the tap.

where i live the earth is filled with chalk which makes the tap water taste disgusting. Tldr: i only drink bottle water

constantly drinking

I heard that might be a sign of diabetes.

Well I eat a Cinnabon a few times a week so maybe that makes sense

calls it USA

staying in Seattle temporarily

go back to your country then, I'm sure the water is better there.

Store rainwater or something

Illegal in land of the free

Store rainwater or something

it is a crime for burgers

i only buy bottled water when im driving for a long time

I'm American retard
It's a big country

IMG_9875.png - 910x897, 1.04M

get a regular water filter hombre

Only in California or something

Honestly though how could anyone enforce this

IMG_8146.jpg - 640x570, 53.5K

You're alternative's Flint.
The source water in most of your country might as well be the Ganges. Pick up a few Brita jugs, or grab a few gallon containers. Leave the tops open on the counter, and cycle them through an evaporate/refrigerate/use-refill cycle every three or four days - most of the chlorine should evaporate out in 48h.
Adapt and overcome, Sisyphus.

Ok now drink the tap water in Mexico and tell me how that works out

I bought a filter but never used it cause the filtered water makes me more thirsty
Now I just use those water flavor/lemonade packets

The fuck? How is that legal? Chlorinated water is not safe to drink

American water is garbage, it smells like rotten eggs. In Croatia, tap water is excellent, while well water is a fantasy.

In low levels chlorine in water is tolerable to the human body

I use a filter
Just got a brita I think it's alright. Definitely fixes the chlorine issue somewhat

doesn't even satiate thirst. It's like living in hell. Constantly eating but always feeling hungry.

You are describing diabetes, you have diabetes anon.

We're talking about fucking drinking water, "tolerable" is not something you want here

Can you provide som data on your drinking water?

My drinking water is very tasty imo (east/southeast stockholm).
I looked it up and we have 14,3 mg/L chlorine. Here is the latest report: nacka.se/490c1b/globalassets/nackavattenavfall/dokument/va/sammanstallning-dricksvattenkvalitet-nacka-2023.pdf
I have tasted other parts of Sweden with worse tap water, but I dont think the difference was about chlorine

Also,

doesn't even satiate thirst

literally impossible unless you are drinking fucking ocean salt water, this is your brain on conspiracies tricking you

You can't even drink the tap water in the country under us without getting violently ill

If it's not where you'd like it to be, leave it out to degas for a bit, or run it through a blender. It takes about 12h to bring our tap water down to yeast-friendly levels in the summer, when they're using enough chlorine to kill off algae smell.

Or he eats too much meat

Too much protein just dehydrates you which can be satiated through drinking more water. With diabetes you are literally always thirsty. Also happens with liver failure

"tolerable" is not something you want here

Yes it is. Did you know that there's actually harmful radiation all over the Earth but it's tolerable to our bodies so it actually does no harm. Everything that is tolerable to us does no harm to us. I mean even water itself is harmful if you drink too much of it but in smaller amounts it's tolerable. Alcohol is a literal poison that destroys nerve cells but it's tolerable in small amounts.

Do you actually do that? It's way too much work

Depends what's up. When our water starts getting shiddy, I'll leave two 4L jugs on the counter, and cycle those through the Brita as necessary.
At the brewery, we mechanically de-gas and filter it (occasionally having to distill it in the summer), check it against the spring water we used to be able to use, and add carbonate salts as necessary.

saved

Vegas water is fucking terrible. I think it's just a scam to get you to drink the $18 bottle of Smart Water MGM left in your hotel room.

It tastes like it's piped in straight from the swimming pool.

Op confirmed as a fatass. He probably only use to drinking Coke.

Jesus bros... He actually solved the problem

it's chlorinated because most of your water pipes are made of lead
there is a difference between ''tolerable'' and safe. for example while one msievert is the tolerable limit for humans. medical staff still wear lead aprons even though a CT scan/x-ray is far under the 1 msv mark. most poisoning happens trough gradual exposure

Now put it back together...

Dunno if it's just Florida and still like that, but I remember all the water tasting of chlorine when I was there as a kid. Even the soft drinks tasted of chlorine.

Didn't see the chlorine comments above before I wrote this. Guess it's a thing then.

Just get a filter like every non-poor does

Do you really, or are you trying to seem different? Never heard of anyone avoiding tap water here.

In this day and age you just have to accept some degree of artificial bullshit exposure in your life. If it's not chlorine, it's lead and other heavy metals from the pipes. If its not that, it's asbestos or PFTE from your non-stick pan. If its not that, it's PM2.5 particulates in the air. If its not that, it's radiation from a nearby cell tower. If its not that, its the pesticides on every vegetable you buy from the store.
Now you have extra microplastics in your balls.

I think the FDA seems reasonable, so it's probably not horrible for you. That taste though, but maybe you get used to it ...

You aren't meant to live in the middle of the desert with one river for 50 million people you retarded nigger
