An american eating non-stop

big bang theory is under threat, good riddance

That question makes no sense because time didn't existed yet

Stupid nigger demiurge sitting around thinking how to cause suffering

The great contraction. The universe has been expanding and collapsing on itself for untold aeons.

We're in the early mid stages of this universe. But space is expanding and the farthest objects are getting farther and farther away , some things are already beyond our ability to ever detect or see. Eventually the universe will reach its limit, begin to contract, all matter will be compressed into an infinitesimally small point, it will reach it breaking point and another big bang will happen, and infinitum

The big bang crap is all nuatheism cope to try and explain away the existence of God.

The small bang (me banging ur mum lmao)

0,5 seconds before

no, it perfectly places god in place, allowing it to exist in the unknown, no amount of scientific theories can explain away god, no one actually thinks god is a physical entity to be found and explained

The big bang is the result of god’s inflation fetish

The big banf wasn't the beginning of the universe, it was the beginning of its expansion. Before the bang it was just a tiny mass of raw energy.

God

impossible to say. all the big bang is is the earliest point in time current models of physics allow us to project back to before they break down and become useless.

you run into the same problem trying to account for the existence of god though. either way you slice it you acknowledge that it is possible for things to exist and yet lack a beginning as we would understand it. the only difference between atheists and christcucks in this regard is that christcucks think the beginningless precursor to reality/the universe was sapient whereas atheists do not. the two theories are otherwise functionally equivalent.

Niggers

in my country?

Big bang also created time so nothing

Time isn't a real thing, it's a theoretical conceptual thing like God, therefore it doesn't exist

We should admit at some point that our brains don't have the capacity to answer some questions about the universe. An ant will never understand what a symphony is, so why do we think the human brain is the only one that can infinitely grasp more and more complex and abstract topics? We just cope with "sky man did it" or "well you see there was literally nothing, the end"

For me its the infinite universe theory

a theoretical conceptual thing

Which is everything, so by your own logic nothing exists.

I came when I banged urmom

the forms

This is how most start believing in God, every matter has been made by Him. Even if you argue that it is all just 'random/coincidence' then this 'random/coincidence' is in some form a 'God'.

At the root is always God.

Position. GB.XD. For God and for the King.

IT DOESN'T MATTER, IT JUST DID. OK?

Disbelief in God is actually impossible, since even the atheist will admit there is something that grounds everything else, at which point he will claim that his ground is a mere principle and not a personal God. However, such a principle must hold within the potential to beget conscious life and therefore within it is the form of personhood itself

TRVUKE

grounds everything else

within it is the form of personhood itself

word soup

Kkkkk eso fue gracioso

Everything I said is standard philosophical lingo, sorry you’re too ignorant to understand the accepted use of words.

appeal to authority

ad hominem

explain "grounds everything else"

big bang was created right after our brain is formed in the womb

this

this is the only serious answer btw

the big bang isn't a theory of the "beginning" but rather a way to virtually rewind time as far as possible according to our current best theories and observations

The words "Let there be light"

There are no real atheists 99% of them are still humanists with libtard christian morals

The Alpha

grounding is understood to be a form of constitutive determination or explanation.

In short, x grounds y when x creates the necessary condition for y. For example, language grounds culture.

so you believe that one specific thing creates the conditions for everything else

This is such a bullshit copout

why?

Time had to start somehow, or it goes back forever.

the currently accepted idea is that time started with the big bang because before it there was no change happening at any scale anywhere so time is basically obsolete as a concept

You could posit two or more independent substances, but then you would need some further substance to ground their patterns of interaction with each other.

this isn't a physics problem per se, it's a philosophy problem. Theists and atheists both can't answer this satisfactorily

This is a philosophy thread, OP is asking something physics is not meant to answer.

lunch break

Okay, what caused change to occur?

we don't know. Maybe it was a white bearded omnipotent skyfather

I don't that's what it was

A previous universe which was pulled into a single point by dark matter before violently exploding again

My pseudo-intellectual take is that there are no moments of time before the Big Bang. Like, if you collect all moments of time in a bag, there just aren't any before the Big Bang. No idea if that's anything like what physicists think though.

It's not far from what they think
