I don't know why north Americans are so obsessed with colour, but the reason people don't get with muslims is their religion, the fact they have a ton of cousins that would be pissed about them marrying out and that they look inbred. I've seen dark skinned Africans that were hot; it's the facial features of most Africans/Arabs that are unattractive not just their skin-tone. A cute japanese girl would still remain cute even if she had tar black skin.

I know that there is a lot of colourism within minority groups, it has always just sounded retarded to me as the issue usually isn't someones skin tone (at least from the guys I know), but their facial features. Colour isn't entirely irrelevant but being attractive is still more decided by facial features rather than anything else here imo.
