Were you ever unemployed in your country? I've been for a month and it sucks.
Were you ever unemployed in your country? I've been for a month and it sucks
get a part-time, it pays you something while doing nothing most of the time
I was unemployed from 2012 until 2021, but now I'm unemployed again since my contract ended 2 years ago.
I let the niggers do the work.
who is this whore
i haven't been properly employed in the past 5 years. but i'm a project engineer so i just work for a couple of other engineers as a draftsperson
even though i did have a corporate job for couple of years i don't really like the idea of wageslaving on a 9 to 5
i live comfortably with my parents, have gym, sauna, swimming pool and I have the free time to study whenever I want
couldn't ask for anything else
For a year. It was bliss, being able to wake up and go to sleep whenever I wanted, not having to take public transportation during rush hour, just sitting at home playing video games, going to the gym, going on walks, working on personal projects. In a word: flourishing.
Some people can't take being unemployed because they need the structure, the rigidity of being told what to do. These people are good and obedient worker drones, this type does well in office spaces. But not me. Sadly I eventually had to go back. I wish to be unemployed again soon when I accumulate enough funds
I've been unemployed since october and I'm thinking about moving abroad
i've been for a month
how? getting a job in germany is so easy that spaniards flood your country (and we latinx flood theirs)
thats a dude
I'm unemployed almost every year. I cannot hold a job and always crash out, go on welfare and then quickly get a job again.
I never enjoyed my time on welfare but that's because I don't get unemployment benefits but just €1100 to survive which is pretty much my rent + insurances.
Please go to south instead of north.
I was unemployed for three years from 2019 to 2022
Yep I lost my job in May 2023 right after closing on my house, got employed in September 2023, lost that job in March 2024 and got my current job in late summer 2024. Being unemployed is a fucking nightmare man. Everyone thinks they can give you advice or wants to limit what you do so you can apply to jobs. Plus here it's considered bad to live at the parents even though my boomer parents live in a huge house alone.
i was unemployed for a year, i couldnt afford any of thoose things. all this time and no money, it was hell.
wow rude
now I'm gonna look for a job exclusively in suomi to spite you
do it
Plus here it's considered bad to live at the parents even though my boomer parents live in a huge house alone
That's everywhere, except italy. I live with my mom, but why would I care what others think? Stop going outside.
Yes. I said fuck working after doing it for 5 years and started a degree.
I am unemployed and happy.
Plus here it's considered bad to live at the parents even though my boomer parents live in a huge house alone.
past a certain age here is also not a good thing but theres literally no reason to care about what people think if you don't even care about them at the first place.
I live basically in an outside society of my own built only by my self dellusion
I was a neet for 5 years and I wouldn&t wanna go back, the constant feeling of dread that you are wasting your life and gonna be financialy fucked in the future was too much. Work and bank account going up distracts me well enough from my personal life shambles.
NEET lyfe is best.
unemployment sucks but so does working, right now I've never been so stressed in my life, fuck this shit
an idle life is the best life
Right now since almost a year. One part wants to stay unemployed, since I can do whatever I want without planing around a job. The other part knows that soon my money will run out and I'm forced to look for a job anyway, so it's better to look for one now, than to look for one, when it's almost too late.
i'll probably need to get some soon since i want to go to university, again, suggestions?
I am unemployed right now and I am so lost. I went for Uni that everyone said it would guarantee me a job (Computer Science)... Not even manual jobs want me for some reason.
i have a job for the past 5 years, and im missing my neet days more than ever
hahahhaha
I was unemployed for 6 months like 5 years ago and that was the last time I felt free
Computer Sience just graduates you to an office worker. You should recap on some excel, I know from experience...
Yes, im 22. I was employed for 4 years in 2 different companies. Now I can't find a nice job and I'm about to graduate CS. I will just start my own bussiness because it's not worth being a slave. Even if I find a job, it will be a javascript retard job. I was specifically taught and learned C. None of these meme languages that change revisions like your gf cocks is worth writing in.
I was specifically taught and learned C
why?
learn rust and javascript
actual useful languages
rust
invalid syntax. Have you noticed how almost all langs have normal syntax, designed for readability and functionality? Rust is the only one I've found that has just a completely retarded syntax, and besides rust libs are just a wrapper for C code. If you are scared to write program, or too stupid to manage memory, you are ngmi.
javascript
It would be nice if it didn't have a new framework every 2 weeks.
These are not useful languages, more to it, they are just gonna be slowing you down for no fucking reason.
All languages are useful. It just depends on the use-cases.
I am right now
yah but he's talking about demand in his country
I've been unemployed for 10 of the past 12 years. I'm pretty much unemployable at this point.
There's a difference between usefulness and demand THOUGH
Yes its pretty hard to get a decent job in my country without the correct people
indeed but hear me out.
this is a thread about unemployment, so in this case usefulness = demand
who is this angel
