How is the job market like in your country?

still working my first job at 34

being unemployed and actively looking for a job (!= being a content neet) was the most stress inducing thing i've experienced

depend on the job you're looking for

like, if you're a maintenance tech in the industry, or a welder, everyone will suck your dick to try to hire you

I could get into a call center easily, but I have a family to support so I'm actively looking for engineering roles, I have passed 3 interviews to the final stage

Easy to get something if you're willing to prostrate yourself and work for 30k/a, anything above that and you need some luck to find something

I finally get a job I'm comfortable in (4-5 months ago)

so refreshing. Life finally doesn't feel like a torture

I had an tech interview with HSBC's tech lead, dude was mad that I was googling linux commands and java syntax.

why are you googling that, you are supposed to knowit!

what? no I'm supposed to investigate, I'm not here to memorize anything

HR lady added me on whatsapp and said I was really funny

We need more people than fit inside the Netherlands.

this
I have given up on pursuing what I wanted (actuarial jobs in insurance companies) and instead started applying for low-end management jobs.

I don't have a college degree and I'm already in my 20s. Even fast food reject me and everywhere else I'm considered unemployable.

I'll still be miserable with a job due to working 7 days a week and small wages. I'm considering ending my life because my family treats me like a failure.

Dunno, the autistic African made me enough money to not care about it for years.

hahahahah squatter

you wageslaves are just pathetic lmao

Being a call center monkey like you isn't any better

gusto mo tapsilog? pagawa kita ng bisaya na yaya ko

trash
my only hope is to get a comfy government job

I work for the government
Never had to worry about le job market

i hope taiwanese footwear manufacturing company will call me this week

real question
can the dreadful job market situation all over the world be explained solely by the fact that there's too many people in the world?

unironically there are free spots in literally every sector
I can find a job tomorrow if I wanted (I don't want to)

Finance degree

working in Controlling for 44k/year since August last year

When I first started out this seemed decent to me (I was gonna be fine earning 40k, even), but since then I've had several people tell me that this is shit pay for someone with a degree. I wanna quit in 2025 to try and find a job paying 60k+, but I have no idea how realistic that actually is.

Wouldn't know, I'm a NEET

For my sector (power) it is still going great but the rest of the economy is in the gutter
Depends a lot on where you are and in which field you work.

Don't quit until you found your next job and you're certain you'll get hired, and also make sure you have a decent amount of money saved before you switch jobs. You could also negotiate higher pay in your current job.

HR lady added me on whatsapp and said I was really funny

gigabased, you're never gonna get fired

Probably decent as a coder, but I'm tired of smug or grossly incompetent coworkers, so I'm NEETing instead.

I work in architecture, there's shortage of mid level pros my age (30), I can find work anywhere.

Looks like everyone jumped ship in the last decade to tech so there's just dinosaurs and retards left.

Also don't want to work with the people who hyperfocus on salary, because they tend to be in the grossly incompetent camp.

so there's just dinosaurs and retards left.

Sounds like the power industry

sound like every industry

Depends a lot on where you are and in which field you work.

West-Germany, retail sector. I'm not really tied to any one sector given the work I do, but I know retail pays comparably bad compared to other industries. Given that automotive is going to shit here I think I'd like to get into energy as well, like Siemens or something.

Don't quit until you found your next job and you're certain you'll get hired

Oh, of course not. I wasn't gonna hand in my resignation until I signed a new contract elsewhere, I phrased that badly.

It's okay to quit now and look for a job later

Siemens

Siemens old power division is now a seperate company called Siemens-Energy

Rebranding of the year.

No it is not, you retard

You can trust me.

I trust you

Because my love healed you and we are now friends

Ordnung muss sein. Kein NEETen bitte.

I can't get hired, and I've more or less given up now.
