I'm playing Genshin Impact. How would a native Japanese speaker read the two ability names here? (拂雲出手 and 旋雲開相) This character is basically Chinese and I think for stylistic reasons they left the original Chinese ability names in, without adapting them to Japanese. Would you just make up the reading of these ability names on the spot using the 訓読み you know? It also looks like 拂 is 人名用漢字, so would most Japanese players have to look up its readings, or would they likely know them already? Also, would you get an idea of what the ability names might mean by looking at them?
I'm basically just interested in how a Japanese speaker who doesn't know Chinese would see these names.

They can still try to guess to 音読み from kanji they know with the same 音符 like 沸 (沸騰)or 佛 (蓮佛美沙子)

No, we usually use 音読み to pronounce Chinese words.

As far as I know, 拂 is the old character form of 払 and it had been used until the Japanese ministry of education decided to simplify a large number of kanji in the wake of WW2, so some people might need to look its reading up on the Internet.

I don't know actually. These abilities don't have a Japanese reading listed anywhere in the game. According to a dictionary, in Mandarin 拂雲出手 would be fú yún chūshǒu so maybe something like ふうんしゅっしゅ in Japanese? With a little pause between ふ and うん? Anyway, I think the translators left some of these Chinese names untouched for the Japanese version on purpose to make them seem exotic, and they don't always have a clear Japanese reading. The Chinese character names on the other hand have Japanese readings you can hear in the dialogue.

Why is 1 the correct choice here? I would have guessed 2 because it sounded correct to me after reading the question. I'll try to explain my thinking about all of the options here.
To me 1 sounded like it could be correct, but it could use something to connect it better to the latter half of the sentence. But it looks like just the で is enough and I need to read more.
2 felt correct because it connects to the latter half of the sentence (even if 後悔 -> してしまったことは取り返しがつかない). After seeing the answer I tried to think why 2 would be wrong. Is it wrong because XといえどもY forms a conditional ("even if X, Y is true"), and the 後悔してみた is already in past tense so it has already happened, and you can't use this kind of a conditional for something that has already been done?
Option 3 also sounded like it could be correct, but I haven't seen many cases of it being used, so I wasn't so sure. I've mostly seen it in sentences that start with なんにせよ, and not so much in the middle of a sentence. I've also seen せよ used in commands but that's also a different thing.
Option 4 is clearly wrong but I'm not sure I can explain it well. I think X ばかりに Y usually means "just because of X, Y happened", or "just after X, Y happened". It wouldn't work here because the latter half of the sentence is not a consequence of the first half.

といえども is a simple "even though" that comes from 漢文訓読 of the classical Chinese word 雖

Often these higher-level questions are asking you for the one that sounds best given the context, not just the one that fits in grammatically like a puzzle piece

FWIW I wrote a fictional story using those four options. I hope this will give you an idea for each.
