WE DIDN'T FUCKING LOSE IN AFGHANISTAN IT WAS A TIE!
Does your country disagree with the rest of the world about the results of certain wars?

We went there to kill Bin Laden and then took a decade to pull out bc our government is slow.
SAAAAAAAR
Planes crashed into skyscrapers since September 11: zero
lose a dozen soldiers just as you were leaving
only retaliation was bombing a refugee car filled with children
afghanistan
Not a lot of people talk about this or know this but /we/ yes WE subjugated them in 17th century on behest of the stinky smelly retarded Persians. But the Persians were just too retarded and let it all go to waste.
No, im pretty sure the goal was to make afghanistan a potential future ally and you just brutally failed
Elaborate
the hilarious part is that afghanistan is now home to isis-k which recruits tajik monkeys to attack russia and iran, because they're still butthurt about syria
they also killed al zawahiri though
they hit the wrong target
Okay but when did it happen?
Stfu Georgia you couldn't even secede from the Union.
Hi Daniel
Yes.
The 10 day war of independence we fought is considered a minor conflict but actually we mobilized 80% of our population for it, there were 10 casualties, our demographic hasn't recovered since.
we won in Vietbam because of K/D ratio
It is all part of the plan. In two more weeks, the Taliban will become our ally.
No we lost. The goal was to establish a local government and after 20 years, and billions of dollars we were unable to teach the Afghans how to run a democratic government.
But it's not always the teacher's fault. Only so many hurka durka huts you can blow up before it stops having much of a positive effect.
But it's not always the teacher's fault
It is when you kidnap the students.
wants to teach them about democracy
democracy involves ac-130s, drone strikes, civilian deaths
You'd think by the time you can't tell the difference between a civilian and an enemy anymore, the message would start to penetrate through even the thickest marine skull. But then you'd be underestimating American education.
For all its many obvious flaws, the US supported government was more democratic than the Taliban, and the Afghan people had more freedom during the period of NATO involvement.
Not the country but the government does.
Why are gorji subhumans so uppity about their betters?
No American says this
Smart Italian is smart
Russians will be saying the same about Ukraine in a few years
You try teaching kids that bring guns to school and start shouting about how they have to institute their cult's most radical beliefs all while hating you no matter what you try, hiding behind their family members like meat shields, and planting bombs everywhere.
Almost like it was a stupid fight to pick in the first place, eh?
Afghans are stone age monkeys and we failed to be persuasive enough in teaching them about the benefits of modern society to make it stick. They regressed back to their natural traditions.
We should have unironically put the communists back in charge there as they know how to handle radical cultural transformations (kill the entire family of everyone who doesn't go along with it).
Don't forget that the Pakistani intelligence agency funded the Taliban because 'muh Muslim brotherhood' and are now pissed that they keep doing terrorist attacks in Pakistan and gaining support with Pashtuns.
Won't find me disagreeing with you there. But we gave it a good try. The outcome is no surprise.
If you talked to guys who were military instructors in Afghanistan, way before the ISAF withdrawal the general feedback was that they believed the Afghans whom they had trained were useless, disloyal, unmotivated and would have probably refused to fight, which is mostly what happened when the USA left. Nation building may have worked in the Balkans but it doesn't work in shitholes like that.
On the other hand the American government did everything in its power to destroy its fragile ally. Obama's lack of will to destroy the Taliban, Trump's Doha agreement which freed Taliban prisoners and Biden's decision to honor it the way he did were destructive. Though at some point they had to get out of here, and you can't really blame the American public for not giving a shit about it after Bin Laden's death.
110k subhumans perished for 3.5k humans, yeah theres a silver lining to ever cloud.
same thing with the ukraine war, ukraine will probably lose but you really cant put a price on 100k+ dead russhits
Don't forget that the Pakistani intelligence agency funded the Taliban because 'muh Muslim brotherhood'
this is a big factor but also important is the very legitimate concern of a more secular Afghan regime aligning with India
You lost because the Taliban ran to Pakistan every time America starts offensives against them, America should have been much harsher on Pakistan and threatened to economically cripple them if they don't stop harbouring the taliban, fucking Osama Bin Laden was hiding in Pakistan.
And now the Taliban are openly hostile to Pakistan, Pakistanis are such fucking retards for supporting the taliban
It creates jobs and investments in the US military industrial complex so not all is lost.
Americans won big league, you communist losers! USA NUMBER 1.
to be fair, after the tet offensive the viet cong had pretty much been blown the fuck out and then when the US left it had turned into a conventional combined arms war between north and south
Honestly Pakistan has been the worst fucking ally we ever had. I'm glad our relations went south with them. We even defending their genocidal dictator and drove the world to the brink of nuclear war for them and they repay us by aiding their extremist brothers.
Never trust a brown country, ever.
The had a higher kill count THOUGH! $2,000,000,000,000 well spent!
There was some Afghan aid worker who would go around donating water to thirsty children. Biden drone striked him and killed him + 10 of his kids. Media kept asking him about it, but he + his administration kept denying it. Then somebody from New York Times or something did some deep diving investigating by hacking all the cameras and building up a case for him, documenting his entire day, for weeks. It showed that he was known to the US and was a part of some international aid group that uses funds to donate water to people in his city. It captured everything on film, including the drone that killed him and all his kids. With all the evidence, Biden + his team couldn't deny it anymore, and said "Yeah, we needed a random target in response to the US soldiers getting bombed, or else it'd make us look bad, so what?"
With all the evidence, Biden + his team couldn't deny it
and from that day vowed he would never again allow another american bomb to be dropped on another child
This is retarded, same as Vietnam, but other countries do it too.
The Brits insist they won the Troubles, when the IRA's goal for that conflict wasn't a united Ireland; it was an end to persecution of Catholics, and a withdrawal of British soldiers. In the end, the Northern Ireland government stopped persecuting Catholics, British soldiers withdrew, and all IRA prisoners were released.
Israelis seem to think they won the Yom Kippur War against Egypt, when Sadat's aim was to capture and hold the Suez Canal to negotiate a return of the Sinai Peninsula from a position of strength. While the Israelis made an incursion, UN intervention forced them back across the Suez, and Egyptian forces occupied the entire canal from 1974 until the Sinai was returned in full. (Obviously they won against Syria, though)
Just two off the top of my head.
Name a battle they lost
win every battle
lose the war
That almost seems even more demoralizing.
Biden drone striked him and killed him + 10 of his kids
Why didn't they get punished for this?
if you kill your enemy, you lose
I swear leafs are all soyboys
if you kill your enemy, you lose
For Americans it's true. And what do you care? It's not like you guys actually go and fight wars. Sending like 4 dudes and a gokart doesn't count.
Moving the goalposts so soon, chang?
Who's gonna punish them? The UN? France? How did that play out 20 years ago?
