Also the midwest barely gets colder than New England, it's on the same arctic jetstream, the temperature fluctuations aren't a big deal, a serious blizzard is a free day off work by absolute necessity, and it's one of the most plant-infested areas in the country between the crops and the open plains.
It's not as pretty as New England or PNW in general because it's just flat grass, but because of that the setting sun looks huge, the weather is dramatic and the sky is often very beautiful, and when I was moving here I drove across Iowa and as the sun was setting I had to stop and wait for an extremely long freight train, and the way the clouds were mottled that particular day after a rainstorm created incredible god rays, I was driving and didn't have a camera out but it would be hard to capture anyways, coming down the hill to wait where the train was crossing you could see for miles and it was just these occasional shafts of sunlight, more dramatic than in videogames.

It looks like the Northeast (and the Mid-Atlantic region specifically) is the worst one. Overcrowding, tons of nigs, globohomo etc. also bad weather in New England.
The Southwest looks nice to visit but I'm not sure whether it's okay to live in a literal fucking desert.
The Northwest has nice nature and is comfy but I've heard it's soy and empty, overall looks very nice though.
The Midwest is like the Northwest but with worse nature and climate yet seemingly with more things to do and less soy.
The South looks kinda nice on paper for me (extremely nice weather, very cheap, has heckin epic crocodiles dude etc.) but I've only heard bad things about it when actually asking mutts.
So it seems like the Northwest > the Midwest > the Southwest > the South > the Northeast.

It really, severely, depends on what you're looking for and how important it is to you.
Even natural beauty comes down to preference, each region is so large it has at least a few natural wonders and uniquely beautiful regions and hiking locations.
I moved to the midwest from New England to get away from babykilling "progressives" primarily, but it is pretty good quality of living, a lot of positive people, a lot of people who just leave you alone, not too densely populated.
For weather I would take PNW, only been there once in my life but those northern Pacific driftwood beaches are unreal.
If you will do literally anything to escape the cold and live somewhere sunny, I'm sure rural socal near the coast is still great, or even inland the pacific side of the rockies just tends to be great weather.
The southwest inland (four corners, you know over to texas) is great if you don't mind deserts and steppes, extremely beautiful area in its own way, ancient natural wonders, still preserved and undiscovered old world ruins and dwellings since this was the most densely populated area of natives (east coast ones already left/died out mostly before the pilgrims got there), but you do have to be mindful that any plant you touch will sting you and if you wander off into the desert you'll die quickly of heat stroke, sunburn, and exposure. It also can still get cold in the night/winter due to lack of anything holding the heat in. Used to have really laid back people outside of Utah Mormons, idk how it is now, there's a lot of drama about the border and califags moving in to larger cities I hear.
Deep South really does have some of the kindest nicest old world charm people and communities in it, but extremely fucked social stuff too. Texas is like a mix of those two regions plus pride as a former country itself and more Mexicans. Florida? Retirement home. East coast? Colonial architecture, assholes, surprisingly good civic stuff usually, but taxes/rules everywhere.

The same people telling you the South is terrible are the same ones moving here en masse. There are for sure too many blacks here but they can be escaped in some regions. Personally I prefer to live in poorer regions among my own people than in some "prosperous" hellscape.

A few corrections. The weather can be shit in New England but it's less severe than you're imagining (usually, no guarantees ever, but that's anywhere in the US)
Northeast also good for seeing moderate to severe amounts of natural beauty just by walking outside, especially if you really like trees and hills just everywhere all the time.
My dad grew up in the southwest and they were poor/was a long time ago so they had a 'swamp cooler' in their house which worked okay, but when they went to a big city they stepped into an air conditioned mall that had just been built, back when A/C was new even for commercial buildings, and he described how great it was feeling it as a kid, because he had only ever felt hot dry air and cool moist air before, but this was cold AND dry (New England tends to get hot and wet in the summer despite being so far north, but not nearly as bad as the Deep South with all its swamps and lakes)
Now that everyone and I mean everyone in the US has modern A/C the southwest won't be bad but you'll spend a lot of time indoors in the summer, but the fall and spring are like summer somewhere else, and the lower elevation areas never get snow anyways so even the winter is a bit like summer elsewhere.
The flyover states really do have "nothing to do" that part is mainly true.
In larger cities (for the region, mostly tiny cities by world standards) there are a lot of festivals and events, rodeos even, new stuff now that they're sort of trying to modernize but keep their culture, so it can be a lot of fun. In little towns or small cities there's usually not much in the way of entertainment, you can go to the movies very cheap here (and my local theater has recliners in place of the old seats), the midwest recently got fiber internet nearly everywhere seems like so you can just go online, people mostly just work a lot (usually by choice) and go to church and have families and like live music etc.

Deep south really does seem to depend on where you live, the state, the county, the town, even the individual neighborhood, side of the tracks, parish, holler, community, street. It's the only region I've never personally been to at least a bit so this is all hearsay of course.
There is some of the best and worst culture there. It's seemingly only for people who don't mind hot sticky damp air in many parts but some others have different weather. They're very into music and unhealthy food but they also do city-level crime sometimes in rural areas, mostly the black hicks but also the bayoufolk French. It's weird how different they are from the Quebecois. Even the Quebecois have changed immensely from last century.
The weird thing is that when I moved, I was moving to South Dakota during COVID, and it was the second most moved to state. But the state I was moving FROM, Vermont, was THE most moved to state probably because of low COVID rates/low population/being hysterical about "fascism" a lot of liberal city panicfags moved to Vermont to escape muh plague but also to infest Vermont like NYCfags always do (it used to be a paragon of egalitarianism and conservative values, my grandparents' generation).
But at the same time Texas was being invaded by Califags and now it's the south's turn, and I don't know if the people moving south are mostly libshits fleeing the mess they made or conservatives giving up on California/northern east coast states.
