There is a growing return to roots movement among iraqi arabs
Is this -aura or +aura
There is a growing return to roots movement among iraqi arabs

So they larp as like Babylonians or something?
SORT OF
Though the culture did change we still descend from them so larp is not accurate
it does look aesthetic but i don't think muslims will allow this experiment to continue
+aura #respect
anything is better than those white robes and that little retarded hat
+aura, globohomo arabization that comes from Islam is gay
And Mexicans descend from Aztecs but Chicanos trying to revive Nahua is still pretty larpy.

I’ve tried to research my ancestor’s language and gods but I get this weird feeling twinge of fakeness and always give up. I wonder if these critters feel the same
it's whatever and irrelevant. if i saw it i'd just think they're doing it for yt ppl tourism money like sisi's ancient pharaoh larp of the last decade
muslims innately cannot have aura regardless
Wish I could grow a beard like that
with all due respect to my mejicano brothers my ancestors invented writing law calculus and the religion that all abrahamic religions came from mexican ancestors did research on how long a human body can survive without a heart
what im trying to say is one has a case for being revived
I mean sure go for it.
Arabization made the MENA world seem a little bland anyway.
Where are the women?
What are they, assyrian christians?
Are they trying to revive Mesopotamian paganism?
How would that work without kings?
Then again I have similar questions about most pagan revivals. Weirdly enough, Hermeticism might be the most legitimate pagan religious tradition I've come across. Hermeticists seem to legitimately believe in Hermes Trismegistus and revelations attributed to him and seem to have genuinely felt religious convictions. With everyone else, it just seems like a LARP.
larping is never cool
I’m pretty sure those are the evolved versions of whatever they wore in ancient times
the people are beginning to see ;_;
very +aura
if your men are now LARPing as babylonians rather than slitting each other's throats over minor religious disagreements it means your nation is healing
I think they're trying to revive Mesopotamian paganism?
Which, yeah, all the Mesopotamians who resisted Arabization became Syriac Christians.
Better than larping as arabs
Everyone everywhere is tired of abrahamic religion
hella sar
Good morning, are you redeeming your green cardz rajesh abdallah bosniki?
If you don’t like jewish cults you’re le indian o algo
bravo, stand out posting from my latinx brother! viva cristo rey ese!
europeans were at their absolute peak with colonies stretching half the world and the greatest marvels of art and engineering the world had ever seen when they were piously christian
now they're cooking up unbelievably cope about how christianity is meek, passive, inward-looking slave morality when their countries are now the most atheist and the weakest they've ever been.

This is what happens when you don't elect Islamists. Next step is sacrifices to Moloch.
Islam is so fucking gay
wasnt saddam quite big on this stuff
its probably cooler than islam
Are they going to do child sacrifices as well?
They got a lot of children thoughever, I'm sure cutting the chaff a little isn't going to hurt the demographics :^)
How pious was the leadership really? And your god isn't real, homie.
If Italians were LARPing as Roman's, we'd still call it LARPing.
Modern people often underestimate how religious people were in the past. They project modern attitudes back, portraying people as atheists or agnostics who cynically used religion to manipulate the masses.
The truth is that many leaders did cynically use the Church (or whatever) to manipulate the masses, and some didn't follow religious precepts very well, but almost everyone believed in God, and bad Christians(/Muslims/Hindus/Buddhists/Whatever) just lived with being bad people somehow.
thread is infested by amerishit christkike cavemen troglodytes
Do you know why jewsus the kike doesn't come back amerisharts? I shat on him!
Returning to tradition is based, +aura for sure. I have always admired ancient Iraq (Mesopotamia). You guys have a rich culture and you should be proud.
mexican ancestors did research on how long a human body can survive without a heart
Kek
You don’t have to bring back every negative aspect of an ancient culture so fully embrace yourself in it.
Returning to tradition
Can you really call it returning or isn't it just eclectic (post)modern ethnogenesis?
Whatever shit fart it is, it sure beats the current forms of Islam in that region.
