I've never had a job before and I flunked out of college

I guess i should give up about looking for remote jobs but i dont want to move to the big cities to get a decent job anons...

After a year and a half of misery I'm waiting for a company to send me my contract and finish all of the paperwork so I can work remotely. I'm praying for this to go well because I feel like it's my last chance to leave my parents' home and I'm at my fucking limit mentally after trying to move out multiple times just to end up living with them again after working for a couple of months in pretty shitty situations

I just want to rent an apartment for a while and work some job that wont make feel like killing myself, so I'm really praying for this to go well cause if it doesn't well I'm fucked

Worked remotely on fancy sounding jobs with 0 job security for companies in shittington DC now I have a real job in hometown. Seems like decent job security and I don't have to work with coastal upper middle class (aka American Psycho). Pay could be better but I can afford my mortgage which I sure as hell wouldn't have anywhere on the East Coast. Plus family and support network

There's a whole cohort of people in this country who go to a select few schools basically from kindergarten and are pretty much assigned every job in our government and diplomatic core. They are incredibly incompetent and stupid generally but they know how to play the accomodation system and connections system. It's impossible to advance in the beltway without being a member of this caste, even their "diversity" is handpicked from the same schools.
