I do not have a car either, this is actually one of the few areas in the country where you can live just fine outside of a big city and not need a car

I like Castellón too, I find it a great mix between size of the city / services available / quality of life / price / safety

I've felt alone sometimes but never considered suicide. I think life can be beautiful and you can find beauty in small things in nature.

I work 7.30h a day Mon to Fri which is the usual in my sector. 30min stop for almuerzo included. So I arrive home at around 4pm and have the rest of the day for myself.

I speak valencian natively and so do most people in my town.

It is really tricky, not every rural area will speak it, but it is definitely less spoken in the big cities. But you actually have quite large towns and mid sized cities that speak it on a daily basis.

If you're interested in it, this is a map on current usage of the language by town.

Anyway, spanish is good. We all speak it natively as well. We're not weird about it as *coughs* that neighboring region in the north

You look like a friendly and chill guy, so I encourage you too. These are some towns I recommend to you: Xàtiva, Ontinyent, Bocairent (this one is amazing, has an entire neighbourhood carved in stone) and Alcoi (althought it is tecnically Alicante but it's in the same area). These are all big towns. About smaller ones, just pick any, really. I recommend taking any road and just going anywhere, it gets a bit mountanous sometimes and looks good and you find smaller ones with people that do their thing there and barely leave. If you like the coast, it's an entire different mindset, but I like Oliva's and Denia's old town and the entire coastline per se (the beach) in the area is good, most of the beach in the area has summer appartments but it doesn't get too crowded except the areas closer to the big towns.

Por qué? Estuve en Cuenca una vez y me pareció muy buena ciudad. Pequeñita pero con todo lo necesario para vivir y bien conectada con Madrid y Valencia.

Bueno soy de un pueblo aldedor de una hora de distancia a cuenca. No hay nada, solo queda gente mayor, no hay trabajo ni futuro.

Yo me mudaría a Cuenca entonces antes que a Valencia, la ciudad está masificada y llena de guiris y marrones molestando a todas horas.

Está algo más barato que otros suburbios pijos como Santa Apolonia, Torre en Conill o Mas Camarena, porque no tiene transporte público y la carretera de acceso es una convencional de un carril por sentido con curvas y se forman unos atascos de escándalo saliendo por Torrent.
