I don't even know what you are talking about. Maybe there is some proper hygienic way to prevent weevil infestation in granaries but I don't trust manufacturers to care about consumer's health to not just spray everything down with pesticide and pass it off to consumers who don't know better. Eating pesticide is probably not a big deal but so is eating bugs and I doubt the former is better than the latter.
