The fact that you have electricity and running water in your home is due to the unceasing efforts of 10,000 blue collar workers in your locality. When these men age out of the workforce and nobody comes to replace them, you are going to see massive rolling blackouts and infrastructure failure and water shortages be a normal fact of life. And that's just public sector work, imagine what's gonna happen to the private sector.
