They use them, but they don't use them to signal their intentions. You get a million tells that they're about to turn/change lanes BEFORE they use their turn signals.

I've driven in Germanistan for decades. It's way less stressful in BG.

its more like the driving rules aren't really enforced here so even if you break the law, most of the time you wont get a ticket (we have almost no cameras and village police don't give a shit about how you drive if you are a local). You only get a ticket if there's a cop car waiting with a radar on the side of the road, and whenever they try to do this the drivers tell each other where the cops are so it doesn't really do anything.

Normal people follow the speed limit and drive carefully yes. When you see someone speeding, going against red or ignoring stop signs it's 99% of the time an immigrant.

I didn't find Romanian traffic that crazy. I've been more scared of drivers in Paris for example. Worst drivers I've ever seen were the fucking Azeris, followed by the Italians. Never go to Azerbaijan, they're cunts and drivers will actively try to kill you.
