Melbourne is a maze
It uses grids, so it's easy once you get use to that. There's also the subway and new underground freeways that are appearing like the West Gate Tunnel to compliment that big ass tunnel that runs under South Bank.
I agree for Sydney, it's massive so the maze thing really applies and the traffic makes it so much worse. Brisbane is easy enough to get around but the parking in the CBD is dogshit and the freeways can clog badly during peak, often for hours.
The only two cities I've come to entirely like in this country is Adelaide and Melbourne, both have their own pros and cons, but are the best overall.
It has a pretty serious drug problem, which is brought on by it being a former mining town that exists along a highway that people only pass through it on the way to Cairns or Sunshine Coast. Every state has that one seriously drugged up town and Gympie is QLD's imo. There's also literally nothing to do in it, it just looks like an old and worn down 50s American town (which I say because the main street and cinema is very 50s looking) with nothing else.
