China and EU are meeting
EU proposed dropping tariffs on BYDs
China will reciprocate and drop tariffs on French Brandy, German chemicals
Is this a good or bad thing for Europe?

Europe is the prostitute of the world.
EU going from being a vassal of the USA to a vassal of China
Same cuck, different master.
you're out, your bluff is shit
its a good thing
German automobile industry is on suicide watch
BAD, local auto industry will NOT be able to compete with cheap rustbuckets and chinks DEFINITELY don't do right to repair
Yikes
Chemicals you say... Don't they have camps for undesirables? I think I have an investition idea.
Teslas = OUT!
BYDs = IN!
lmao this will unironically extinct european industry
This’ll be the European auto industry in 20 years
the world fears the sino-european alliance
learn the definition of a vassal.
usa complains they have been funding our defence
thats what a vassal does, he defends others.
but now you call us vassals? cant you agree with yourself?
Seems like a good deal for both. China also imports a lot of German machinery as well. Maybe you can build them some masturbation machines and rollercoasters?
China's gonna be dropping a shit ton of tariffs on EU stuff.
China will pump and rape the Europe automotive industry. Europeans will not be able to compete and instead rely on Chink made cars. And they are unironically grateful for it. Grim.
China's gonna be dropping a shit ton of tariffs on EU stuff.
hey retard, you realize there's literally nothing china wants to buy from the west, rgiht?
why do yuros love low quality chinese crap so much
They're gonna negotiate minimum prices for cars instead of tariffs. This whole thing is just so funny when the EU claims to care about climate change but then screeches when cheap electric vehicles enter it's market.
In 2030, mandarin would be most popular 2nd language in yurop

I've always wondered why Europeans don't buy American cars. It wasn't until Trump complained about Europe that he revealed why.
American cars don't meet European safety/emission standards
they pollute too much, and they fold like a cheap suit
fails every European safety test
When talking about "negotiating with the EU" he basically said he doesn't want 0-for-0 tariffs, because that's not good enough, because American cars still can't be sold. He wanted the EU to drop ALL safety/emission standards so American cars can be sold in Europe.
except the pacific apparently
VGH... THE SINO-ROMAN EMPIRE RISES...
ACCELARATE THE EU'S MANUFACTURING DEATH
Good.
Fuck unitedsharters.
It's actually because American cars (made in mexico) are too big for eurosissies and they unironically get scared.
timestamp?
Somewhere between 15-20 minutes in. Trump also talks about "bowling balls being dropped on cars" to test their safety, and all American cars fail them.
Those who were more affected by the US circus The EU might unnironically be about to do nothing and get the pacific markets too.
China does not even recognize the EU and has better trade agreements with each nation personally.
Many Chinese adore the unique verities of Europeans and have the time & interest to address each nation directly.
ew
why would we? name one american car that could potentially sell well here?
i have two cars, the requirements where this
1.
for work so van, needs lots of room, diesel with decent power and fuel economy, awd, preferably manual, good trailer weight, good ground clearance
ford transit
2.
daily driver, needs good fuel mileage so diesel, can live with it being slow'ish, manual or auto i do both, awd, 2000ish kg trailer weight, good ground clearance, doesnt have to be super reliable since the work van can step in and i can buy with my heart not common sense
so landrover freelander.
im thinking of getting a third because i miss having a fast car, i had both volvos and alfa romeos in the past.
what american made cars will fit this criteria?
stfu the adults are talking
They produce a lot of quality stuff now
usa doesnt have a free market on cars, they have the chicken tax and heavy import restrictions. manufacturers and dealers rule the market, not the consumers, they have to buy whats available. if you want a truck well then the list is short, ford, gm, dodge and toyota. jeep if you are gay.
here we have all thoose plus more toyota models, more ford models, vw, mitsubishi, isuzu, maxus, fiat, i dont know them all.... with freedom of choice people tend to not buy american behemoths.
also... there is a specific clausule in norways vehicle laws that make any car legal in usa also legal in norway, even if its not up to our/eu standards.
Yes but think of the massive moral victory to be had over America with this move
American beef and chicken is full of steroids, antibiotics, and graze on pasture with banned pesticides and genetically modified crops.
You vill eat ze chlorinated and steroid filled chicken, and rat feces covered beef. Trump will make sure you drop all food safety standards and import them.
more options is... le bad
when your options are already good, yes
more options
yeah could I have some agent orange dipping sauce I want a little variety
this is europe's entire problem summed in one comment: stagnation, they're become too stupid and ignorant to understand the value of compeition
LatAm and America are the ones complaining about EU regulation all the time, and then do shit like this.
America's entire problem with the EU boils down to "wwaaaaaaaagggghhhhhh please buy our things"
Good thing for China, likely not so good for European auto makers.
I only shop certified European imports at Aldi.
