Brazilian house styles

Comfy

you must live in a 'safe' area of brazil to not have barbed wire and a 3m wall

we should go back to colonial or neo-colonial (vargas era) architecture

I mean, where would I have to go to live in a'safe' area of Brazil?
*Brazil has a problem with gangs, and the authorities either can't handle the situation or have another gang in charge

I was gonna make a thread about that video too

Very nice and comfy, I grew up in one just like that. It's very safe and I still meet friends from 20 years ago on holidays

You’re a paulista in denial.

Man MG is so kino and sovl it's not even fair

born and breed in Guarapuava why are you seething nigger?

In some older cities here it's common to see neocolonial houses from the 1930s and 40s. Belo Horizonte is full of them. Unfortunately they're disappearing. It's the kinoest style we as a country have ever produced. They were built by private firms back then.

I wouldn't want to be that guy without a metal fence.

You'd have to find an architect who's specialized in that as well as having a good hand at broader range colonial or mid 20th Portuguese architecture as well to source some inspiration. The harder part is finding the construction crew who can pull it off and finding the exact materials the colonial style sourced for maximum authenticity. You have to realize that for a place like Brazil where saying colonial era architecture covers actual centuries of work, some of the materials sourced back then may not be easily available or cheap now.

a metal fence aint stopping me

Neocolonial is a Brazilian style from the 1930s friend.

just imagine how many armadeiras you could fit in that thing

Paraná was one of the first territories conquered by the bandeirantes, under the Bandeira of Manuel Preto and Raposo Tavares, we expelled the Spanish and their Guarani allies from Gobernación del Guayrá. Paraná spent 225 years as a territory of São Paulo, and was the last state to be separated from São Paulo, only in 1853 as punishment for São Paulo's involvement in the 1842 revolts. The state is so old because it was crossed by the Peabiru, one of the main routes of the Bandeirantes. At the same time, the coast of the state also developed as a mining center for the caiçaras coming from São Vicente, and Paranaguá later became one of the main ports of São Paulo. With the defeat of the Paulistas in the War of the Emboabas and our consequent expulsion from the central region of Minas Gerais, Paraná was once again targeted by the bandeirantes, who at this time became tropeiros. Through the tropeirismo, Campos Gerais and Curitiba were rapidly populated by settlers from Sorocaba. In the 19th and 20th centuries, the northern region of the state was colonized by and Boiadeiros from western São Paulo.
Tou don’t need to deny the gentilic of the newly formed state, but you shouldn’t deny your own roots, because in the cultural demonym, we have the same roots: bandeirante, caipira, caiçara, tropeira and boiadeira. Because political borders are imaginary, but cultural borders are not; culture goes beyond borders.
I’m not a “nigger” btw, I belong to the Caipira race.

Looks like an ugly roadblock. Hopefully they demolished it to build housing

bottom one is what they replaced it with

Armadeiras are dangerous but only if she feels threatened. 95% of spiders are completely harmless and can't even bite you to be honest. The dangerous ones lives in the wilderness and you won't usually cross their paths. So if you are scared of armadeiras keep in mind that they are very rare to find and even if you find them just let them be. Spiders are bros.

Intensely sovlfvl skyline view

The jews did this to your city brazilanon

Every region of Brazil has some cool dormant aesthetic (history, architecture, clothing, cuisine etc) that could be turned into beautiful stuff once given proper attention

Apart from my native MG, I'm particularly fond of northeastern stuff

anons did this to your city

What do you mean? I'm a regular paulista from S.
