i think in terms of the story it wasnt as good as s1, they made the scope too large and shouldve stuck to a character driven narrative, but it was still good entertainment and beautifully made

But for what I have seen it appears the enjoyment of s2 depends a lot on if you liked the Jayce and Viktor arc and how it ended, or if you understood the time paradox at all. Also a lot of criticisms regarding Jinx becoming "good", which honest to God are completely retarded.

You cant give any good reasons why it should be any higher than a 6, hence your initial reply. Arcane is way worse than something like puss in boots 2, not just from an animation standpoint with puss in boots having way more detailed scenes with more moving parts but also a better story, that is both simple enough to follow and profound once you get to the ending. The worst part about arcane has to be the fact that whenever they try to make some cool fighting sequence they have to utterly destroy the enjoyment of it by adding the most god awful music you have ever heard to it like Imagine Dragons

I really liked everything about s2 despite the obvious pacing problems in the first acts. from the time paradox to the character development of the protagonists, the writing was good especially with the Jayce and Viktor arc, I really liked most of the music except for a couple songs, the animation was excellent, action packed, etc. there's really no reason at all for me to give it a lower punctuation than 9/10. But to each their own.
