How do people buy cars in your country?

How do people buy cars in your country?

In the USA:

go to stealership

look at lot of shit used cars and pick the least worst one

get screamed at by low IQ middle eastern guy for 30 minutes about how big of a mistake it will be if you don't get the extended warranty

pay non negotiable fees for bullshit you didn't ask for

drive home feeling like shit

IMG_0974.jpg - 1741x2048, 403.25K

I don't know because I don't have to buy a car

everything is like this nowadays
boomers had a perfect life and we get shit

I got mine in dowry

go to dealership

look at cars available

ask for a test drive

order the car if you like it and pick it up once it's ready

only rich people buy new cars

go to tesla website

order

go to yad2 or facebook marketplace

look at used cars

talk on the phone with guy and meetup

bring regular flashlight and blacklight flashlight

find every little scratch and dent

pull up insurance records

drive to car inspection center

find out everything wrong with the car

low ball with your new information

used cars

why don't you buy a new one?

new cars cost an arm and a leg in the west

but does it even out in the long run?
like used cars need more maintenance, and I'm assuming mileage would be a bit less?
with a new car you usually get 2-3 years of free service

it never evens out cars are a deprecating asset

I just bought a Tesla model 3 used
What can possibly go wrong with this car?

It's dumb shit simple
Aside from the battery exploding I don't think anything will happen

Retards here would rather buy a 10 years old post-warranty BMW or Mercedes that breaks every 3 months and you need to pay 20% of its value per year in repairs, instead of a buying a brand new reliable japanese car for the same price

I would've bought a rivian

smug-apu.jpg

after all the money you spent on inspecting it you're committed to it

yeah I don't understand burger economics

it's just 200 shekels if the head gasket is about to blow obviously you won't buy it

> drive to car inspection center

> find out everything wrong with the car

it's just 200 shekels

it's more like 600 shekels

here people buy them online so no middle hand think craigslist

The other three cars I bought were through CL and it was an infinitely more enjoyable experience. I don't think I will ever buy a used car at a dealership again. I'm actually exhausted this shit took TWO FUCKING DAYS I don't even know why

yeah i know that feeling. i have friends that are into cars so i have always brought one of them along when i have bought a car. i have had quite a few ones and never have i been scammed because the seller is always a honourable boomer

I live in a walkable city, you racist bigot

go to sell-everything site online

search for what you want, it be specific model, type, area, price range or whatever

find something you like

message seller

agree on price

go to him, do the payment, title and insurance transfer online in minutes

drive home in your new used car

nothing just make sure to sell it when the battery is about to go out of warranty

payment, title and insurance transfer online in minutes

it takes days here and multiple trips to city office fighting with 80yo communists over minor details

open "Blocket.se" on pc

choose area and vehicle, cars

scroll until you find shitbox you want

text the sellers number

get location where you can meet

go check the car out

meh it's fine

open phone, Swish 5000 kr ($457) to him, his phone chimes

get the papers etc

get in car, drive home

That's how I have bought all three of my cars. Never paid more than 5k SEK.

Glad we simplified and made everything digital here. Never have to visit any offices or make calls. Everything is instant.

Swish 5000 kr ($457)

fyfan vad lågt kronan står

does sweden not obsolete vehicles?
here if the car is over 20 years old you need to have it pass inspection two times a year as an incentive to scrap old shitboxes

do they send you the registration plates by mail?

The opposite.
Cars 30 years and older are tax freed, cheaper to insure and only need inspection every two years instead of yearly.
That's why old cars are so popular here.

instant money transfer, only it cost a small fee when you go above a certain limit

car registry is already digital and every owner can log on a see his cars, there you click "sell car" and type in buyers social security number

buyer then gets a link to click "accept" and a link to another payment for registration fee, obbiously an instant payment if you do it online

the car is yours the second you click accept and you can drive it once you pay the fee and insurance

insurance you pre-register and cancel if you dont buy it

What do you mean? Do you guys change plates when you buy a used car?

No, I meant registering a new car for the first time. Can you do that online?

5000 kr ($457)

Aren't roads in Sweden sprinkled with salt?
How many years did you own each of those cars?

re1aw56.jpg - 640x480, 67.06K

how does that work i assume you salt your roads, won’t that rot the chassis’s?

Israel is nuts, it's quite literally Jews jewing Jews jewing Jews jewing Jews until the end of time.

what did you expect in the JEWISH state?

Every single store tries to peddle some warranty here. You just blankly stare at them and say no in your best terminator voice.

No idea, never bought a new car.

Not him but people take care of their old cars here. Rust treatments, washing and so on. My Amazon is from 1969, not a speck of rust anywhere. Drive it all year.

I expected your ethnic chauvinism to extend to treating your fellow tribesmen better, but then in a religion that believes in trying to trick God it makes sense that you'd want to fuck over a fellow Chosen Person just as much as you would a goy back home in Poland pre-1939.

Car nr 1 - five years. Transmission blew up.
Car nr 2 - three years. Too small, sold it.
Car nr 3 - six years, still driving it.

Why do you seem to have a different old car every time you post on this board

Huh? I rarely go on Anon Babble. Too much race bait and coom shit.

go on autotrader

find car

go to where it is

test drive it

buy it

Cars are a scam, inherently. My dad is a mechanic and we've always owned Honda's from the late 2000's. Anything else is a racket.

don't these old cars have to comply with modern yurop automobile standards?
like safety, emission regulations?

only registered dealers or importers can, they have access to the necessary services for customs and tax. as a private guy importing is one of two cases you need to physicly visit the office, the other is buying a car where the last registered owner is either dead or unknown.

no, standards only apply to new vehicles sold

no they have to comply with the standards of their time. new laws are not retroactive.

Nope. They have to comply with the regulations they were built for at their time. So called veteran cars don't even need seat belts if they didn't come with them from factory.

You have an excellent appraiser's eye for cars.
And, have you ever spent a little money on repairs?

but isn't that a hazard then, to yourself and others on the road?
I mean I'd rather be driving something from the 2000s with ABS, airbags and other safety features over snow roads in scandinavia
than an old car from the 60s that still has drum brakes

Keeping the outside of your car clean is easy!
The problem is the inside.
It costs a lot of money to keep the consumable parts, engine, etc. in good working order.

Are you saying there are dozens of Swedes here and each of them owns a different old car that they post the picture collage of?
You've been doing it for years man

1.jpg - 1172x1272, 362.52K

It's a free country. Wanna drive an older, not as safe car that is very cheap and simple to maintain? You can do so.
Want a safer modern car full of computers and tech that is very expensive? Go ahead.
But nobody can tell you what you can't drive as long as the car passes inspection.

My dream car is a Volvo 245 like picrel.
No airbags, no ABS, no computers. Just solid engineering and a engine that never dies. 1970's perfection.

2560.jpg - 1959x1306, 1.24M

Collages are/were the standard format for pics in Sverigetråden. And yes many of us own old cars.

take your meds

Roads in Finland certainly aren't. There's no point, they'd just freeze anyway when it gets cold. Footpaths are sprinkled with gravel, cars have winter tyres.

Here people are complete retards when they buy cars.

220.000 kms? (136,701.66 miles in amerimutt metric system) 2000 euros? Does it still goes? What? He has a shitty peugeot engine on it with only 3 cylinders? Who cares! Bought!

And some guys still wonder why Italian Cars industry is dead.

sweden has one of the lowest road fatalities in the world

car passes inspection

what does a usual inspection consist of? just curious

Salt sprinkled on the roads stays in the snow and slowly rots the cars.
Rust inhibitors and rust removers are applied, but this does not stop the rusting process.

0001.jpg - 800x600, 96.86K

On older cars it's a basic inspection that makes sure that all major parts are functional. Brakes, lights, no structural damage anywhere and so forth.
And something I had forgotten, cars that are 50 years or older no longer need inspection.

223.jpg - 1112x629, 94.38K

people in the first world easily sell their cars just after ran 1,000km and get another one
the quality of used cars in third world is different

Japan is the third world where the value of a car drops to 80-90% after 1000km.

if you're selling your car after just 1000 KM, I doubt the condition of the car changes much, be it first or third world

your dream car costs 300 dollars what are you waiting for you larper

Anon, go look what a good condition 245 costs today...

Skärmklipp.jpg - 1004x648, 98.24K

I've only ever bought used cars, but there is one golden rule: don't buy from gypsies, don't sell to gypsies

yeah thats like factory new the joy with an old volvo is that they are so easy to restore. u gad a 360 as my first car its engine was basically a lego set

i didnt see the milage but that is ridicolous

Russia
Scroll internet
Put it in your cart with selected options
Get a call back to arrange the pickup
Go to dealership
Look at the car
Pay with cash or card (debit or credit)
Get documents and leave on car

Those websites are made for boomers with too much money and to few neurons left.
If you want to buy a car, do it on facebook marketplace, or what ever poor people in your country use to sell stuff.

My last car was brought from my department of transit auction. Unfortunate it was someone else project car, so he fiddle around with the injection computer and even miss match the fuel injectors (why???).
I sold it in 2020 when used cars prices peaked for double what I paid and have been only driving my sister car ever since.

I pretty much only ride my motorcycles, and only ever drive a car when I am going out with my girl friends (they are so insane that none can pass the driving test). I also don't remember how to pararel park, and to be honest, I don't really want to re-learn.

i want to buy an mc card so much but i have been brainwashed by my dad not to get one, idk cant explain it but i cant get one untill he is dead

just do it.
Is not like you are marrying outside your race or something like that.

no but he is old as hell was a UN soldier for many years so i assume he has its reasons. belive me i really want to it looks like the ultimate freedoom feeling to ride down a highway on an MC

It depends.
If boomer:

go to new car dealership

pick the absolutely worst 3 cylinder crossover shitbox that screams I'm old and have back pain

wait half a year

receive your ugly shitbox

If younger than 50:

find a used octavia in a foreign country using mobile.de

arrange with a car smuggler to import it for you

If you're younger than 50 but retarded:

go to a used car stealership

get absolutely bamboozled
