I was including Hitler in that term "rebuilding", Weimar Germany was actually economically recovering until the Wall Street Crash which allowed Hitler to come to power and shift the economic path to autarky along militarised lines, both Weimar and Hitler made great strides in rebuilding the economy. My point being not everything bad in Poland was Russia's fault just as not everything good is because of Germany. That sentence does not align with itself, if the plan was for war then orientating the economy around it does not make it bad, Hitler rebuilt Germany as a large MIC because he planned for a war. The great pitfall many people fall in to with Nazi Germany is assuming their policies leading up to the war is what they would have done during a "regular" decade. All those foreign volunteers the German accepted when they need men for example does not mean they weren't Nordicists.

That is true to an EXTENT, China collapsed then fought itself for twenty years then the Japanese for nine and then back to themselves for another four and they still recovered within the same period that almost all the African ex-colonies started their backward slide. My guess is a CDU victory at maybe 30-35 percent, then they'll form a coalition with the SPD, and if that's not enough they'll come to some compromise with the greens. AFD and and BSW will probably manage between 30-40% combined, but not enough to govern.
If the greens/spd prove unwilling to compromise with the cdu, or the afd surprisingly gets the most votes, I imagine we'll see a afd/cdu coalition

It will be interesting to see what it takes to for the AfD to batter down the firewall
