As reading and writing are not actually something separate from speaking, they are only a visual representation of the spoken word.

Many people seem to think of "reading" and "writing" like these mythical skills acquired through years of training in school, with complex theorizing about good sentence structure and so on, without realizing that if you also speak well you can just write the way you would speak.

Because they are not different things.

As a child, I would just write my assignments the way I would have said them out loud and my teachers would always be dumbfounded at the quality
